I loved it. It's great to see Barry Allen back .

Best part of the book was Flash and Captain Cold.

"You tried to kill me. That means you tried to kill every person I hope to save before I die. That's a LOT of people."

    I love it. :)

    Default Justice #8 *Potential Spoilers*

I'm not going to post many spoilers about this issue but this issue just kicked a lot of ass. Patient storytelling combined with the art and inking make this just a great comic.

Batman had some great lines in this issue I think, at the beginning and when he was interrogating Cold. I had forgotten about the Lasso being on him so when Superman in his thoughts said "All those bluffs were real." and remembering what he said, is...chilling.

We begin to see why the villains have done what they have done, and confirms things from the very first issues and the motives to do them.

Oh, and Phantom Stranger. If Ross made that into a poster, I would so get it.

I love the story and the art, but, like Secret Wars, the pacing turns me off. I am just going to wait for the TPB.

I always read the last issue then the new one with Justice. I would prefer to have a monthly release, but I don't mind at all having to re-read issues because I like the story and the art is awesome.

I would also prefer it come out more frequently, but that's just because it IS such a great book.
Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Wonder Girl, Captain Marvel, CM3, Mary Marvel, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, Mera, Aquababy, Aqualad, Barry (Flash) Allen, Wally (Kid Flash) West, Hal (GL) Jordan, John (GL) Stewart, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Speedy, The Atom, Thanagarian Hawkman, Than. Hawkwoman, Plastic Man, Elongated Man, Sue Dibny, Snapper, Phantom Stranger, Zatanna, Red Tornado, The Metal Men, The Doom Patrol, Metamorpho, Batgirl, Supergirl...what's not to love?!?
Now, if only Firestorm, The Privateer, The Kirby-esque faux Sandman, Swamp Thing, Cyclotron, Golden Pharoah, Samuri, El Derado, Apache Cheif, Black Vulcan, and the Wonder Twins would show up, I'd really have a joy-gasm...
Pull List; seems to be too long to fit in my sig...

As for the monthly release issue with this book. I make certain exceptions for Alex Ross.

    But He's the ONLY one.

Even I can look at his work and admit that this takes time. All the other artists and writers should stick to a deadline. ;)

Personally I would love to get a book like this (silver age JLA) Written Monthly by Ross. Not Drawn mind you. I love the story and the characterizations. Its kind of a rare combination to find. The old silver age stories were 85% corny and "for kids." The new stories are more adult orientated, but usually of replacement characters that I don't like as much. I love adult Stories with Hal Jordan, Barry Allen, Arthur Curry (hell with Orin) and Dick Grayson as Robin. I love it :)

Lets get another Legends of the DCU or something going again.

I dont mind the wait at all. Them being in the fortress for 2 issues isn't a big deal considering that other things are happening in the issue. This is the only DC title that I buy, and it's worth the money. The covers, to the interior pages, the story, everything is great. This is truly an all-star comic. I also like how Aquaman is written and his new power. Good stuff.

The league they are using is obviously based on the classic satetille era JLA and John Stewart was only a backup lantern then who doesn't even have his own ring if i do remember correctly. When Hal quit the corps , John was given a ring then and became full time.

The exchange between Elongated man and Plastic man is great. I won't be surprise if the big bad for this series will be revealed as Darkseid who is the one behind the actions of Brainiac & Luthor.

They should have just called this "All-Star Justice League", because that's pretty much what it is. I love this book. The art is gorgeous, the plot is epic, the characterizations and dialogue is great, I love it.

Yeah, it sucks having to wait 2 months between issues, but Alex Ross art is worth waiting for.

The wait is a pain but man is it worth it. Anyway I read this last night and I loved it. My favorite part was Captain Marvel hugging Wonder Woman, I thought that was pretty moving.
