Default How come no ones talking about Justice #8?

This series continues to deliver issue after issue, Ross, Krueger, and Braithwaite have put together an amazing JLA comic book that has an interesting story great scenes and beautiful art. So, i'm wondering am I the only one reading this this book rocks in so many ways that I feel like I have to tell every comic book fan about it. If you claim to love comics or are big Shazaam or Barry Allen fans pick up this book because it shows your favorite heros/villans at their best or worse. Seriously it is one of the few comics today that you will want to pick up when it hit you local CBS every 2 months.

It's good stuff, but the slow pace of its release is seriously cutting into its momentum. It's hard to build up a buzz when you only get a meager ration every other month.

It is a fantastic series. I'm loving it. Sadly released at the same time as Infinite Crisis and Civil War, which somewhat stole its thunder.

Slow pace. It's hard for the book to generate heat.

I still like the book, but they've been at the Fortress of Solitude for two issues now. If that were two months worth of Justice, that'd be one thing, but that's four months!

We've only got four issues left to go. Eight months! The better part of another year!

Nothing against DC or Justice's creators. They billed it as a bi-monthly. The painting makes that necessary.

But the pacing is strange for a reader who buys the single issues. I think this will be great as a nice big hardcover trade.

OH! And what was up with that Elongated Man, Plastic Man fight? Weird.

I stopped reading these after issue#3. I still buy them, but I found it hard to follow on a bi-monthly basis. So I'll wait till they're done and read the whole story. Sort of like waiting for the trade, but I like reading in comic book format.
BTW:What I read in the first 3 I really liked.

I don't have a problem with the pacing either.
I enjoyed the first three issues. When I tried to read the fourth issue I found I had to re-read the first 3. This is not due to any fault of the creators. This is because I am old and my brain doesn't work to good.
So when the series is complete I will have a great time reading it as a whole.

I did the same thing with the Neverwhere series, loved reading it in one chunk.

I know I'll love it, but I'll only be getting it once they collect the whole series.

I really enjoyed this issue but I have to vote that the pacing on the overall series has left a little to be desired. This is one of the first issues (since maybe #2) where I could just pick it up and read it and not feel a little lost.

I thought was great and worth the wait. Love seeing all the JLA and reserves from that era, as well as all the supporting cast members. Great characterization; I really like the scenes between Batman and Cold, and Marvel and Wonder Woman. Plus we can see a glimpse of why Plas and Ralph never hung out together much despite both being two stretchy, goofy guys.

I was disappointed with the whole Plas/EM bit, and I wish DC would stop trying to shoehorn Plas into the DC Universe.

Six issues in, I was really regretting getting it bi-monthly, because I know it would make a much better read in one straight shot. I'm a dope, so I'll probably wind up buying the hardcover one day anyway.

I'm not picking it up until next week. So I'll comment then. But I the series so far is Ross's finest work.
