Default Mr. Stones talks to SciFi.com...

...about the upcoming Hellboy animated films and other interesting stuff.
(Otto66 thinks Tad deserves a nap after all these interviews)

I close my ears and hum, but the voices just get louder.

    Tape recorders are my enemies.

I had an interview with a guy who typed as I talked. It forced me to slow down, complete sentences (if not thoughts), make subjects and verbs agree and generally sound rational.

It's certainly nice when interviewers come up with new questions.

But in the meantime, I'll take that nap.

I finally got around to reading this interview, and I must say bravo Tad! You've been all over the place lately promoting these movies, and it's been nice to read your thoughts on the project- its gestation, your hopes for more movies, etc. I sincerely hope these do extremely well! I very much sense that you're in your element and I couldn't be happier that one of "us" is at the helm.

BTW, I really liked your comments regarding the possible return of 2-D animation at Disney, and how it's not about the tools used but the stories involved that counts. I couldn't agree more and have been saying that very thing to anyone who'll listen for several years now. Thanks for adding your credibility to those thoughts.

The second one is a tighter—as Mike says, "the Hammer film they could never afford to do."
I'm really liking the sound of that...
