Default Any old Evil Ernie fans out there, or any new ones?

Hey this is just a quick question, anyone know if there is going to be another Evil Ernie series coming out of IDW, or did the last one bomb that badly? I bought the series, and will continue to buy any Ernie issues they put out (I'm a fiend from back in the day and have Smiley, and the Chaos! Comics emblem on my arm) but the last issues just didn't feel like a Ernie story. With the Walking Dead, and Zombie, and all these other Zombie stories coming out there is no reason for Ernie to not be leading the pack other than that the people who bought him don't know what to do with him. Any way just wondering if anyone knows whats going on in the world of Evil Ernie?

You must have confused IDW with Devil's Due. It was Devil's Due who published the last Evil Ernie series.

Anyway, Devil's Due and Chaos Comics have officially split up. Chaos did put it around that they would begin publishing on their own (and the final issue of the last Purgatori arc was indeed on their own back), but thus far there has been no further word.

Shame. Like you, I am a long time Chaos fiend, and look forward hopefully to further Chaos comics.

Is Brian P. back in charge of Chaos!? I think that would really help get the various series back on track... also do you know what happened to the Lady Death stories from 3 or 4 years ago? They weren't typical Lady D, more LotR than the original, but really good stories...IMO.

Wow. You are out of the loop, aren't you. No offense.

After CrossGen went bankrupt (the publisher who were publishing the new Lady Death series), Lady Death was sold to Avatar Press.

Avatar have been publishing two incarnations of Lady Death comics - "classic" Lady Death (the Lady Death we know and love), and "medieval" Lady Death (continuing the CrossGen incarnation).

Brian Pulido writes full time for Avatar now. He has nothing to do with Chaos Comics anymore.

I knew what was going on at crossgen pre-bankrupt, but I only got the first issue or two of her second crossgen series then crossgen went under and I was left with out a story just the first issue or two, I was never able to get anything from Avatar from my old comic store and the one I go to here in StLouis is really hit and miss about smaller press publications outside the StL area.
