The latest Sims 2 expansion pack comes out today, allowing you to breed, design, feed etc Pets (but apparentally not control, just order).
Any thoughts? I personally thought that "Open For Business" was a little underwhelming, but this sounds like it could be good...

I haven't really been thrilled about any of the expansions for Sims 2. The new stuff to buy is cool but I don't think that any of them has really added too much to it. Maybe that is just me though.

Didn't they already have a pets expansion for the first Sims? I'm not an evil, money-hungry corporate giant like EA, but you'd think that all the content from the first game + its expansions would be included with the sequel, leaving future exp packs to focus on entirely new stuff.

I don't find it all that horrible. The core Sims 2 game is large enough that you don't need all the expansions to enjoy it. The only thing I find to be a rip off is those family fun/glamour life packs where you pay 20 bucks for less then 100 new items. The actual expansions include new content that, while not necessary, is worth the price to pay in my opinion.
