Young Avengers getting a taste of Doom?

Young Avengers is an amazing book that I can hardly wait to start up again.

I mean I really love it.

But one of the young heros has a past that I'm pretty sure will come back to cause trouble for her new team.


Cassie Lang's first boyfriend was Dr. Doom.

No not the Victor Von Doom that just returned from hell. But Kristoff Vernard Dr. Doom's former adopted hier.

What it doesn't say is that during the time that both Dr.Doom and Reed Richards were MIA both Kristoff and Ant Man (Scott Lang) were staying with the Fantastic Four.

Scott's daughter Cassie came to visit often and she and Kristoff started crushing on eachother.

After Onslaught Kristoff was aparently taken under the wing of Nathaniel Richards who is strongly hinted at being Kristoff's true father.

Apart from the MC2 U where Kristoff and Cassie are currently together no trace of Kristoff has been seen since Onslaught.

But now that Cassie is a superhero it's time this bit of drama got injected back into her life.

So how do you think the Young Avengers would handle it if Kristoff comes back?

If Vision is still makeing puppy eyes at Cassie he may wind up reprogramed as a monkey butler by Kristoff.

I do hope Kristoff comes into play more though. There's so much history there between him and Cassie, I can't imagine some writer not wanting to jump on that.

Nope it's all on Vision's side at the moment. I think the problem lies in the fact that Kang and Cassie really hit it off and Vision ended up with Kang's memories and personality.

But Cassie doesn't apear to have feelings for Vision and even encouraged him to stop looking so much like Kang so that she could be more comfortable around him.

A cross over with Scarlet Witch is inevitable given the whole thing about her kids being reincarned. But in addition to that, I'm dying to see Wandas reaction to Vision (or a version of Vision at least) having the hots for Cassie. Wanda kills Vision, and he comes back with the hots for the daughter of another guy she killed.

Course, maybe it won't matter cause I'm starting to think Bendis will create a realation between Wanda and Clint, the yet person Wanda killed so. It's funny how it's all piecing together.

Back on topic, it'd be kinda cool for Kristoff to come back as maybe iron lad, and I wonder if they're gonna get any new members in season 2, and who they're gonna be based off of.
