Found on ebay thread: Mike's reimaginations of Kirby's New Gods
Found this while making a regular weekly scan thru web to get new Mignola pieces pictures on my trusty HD. Seems like a great chance of geting an enrmoulsy big houl of very rare mignola stash. Does anyone know if these thingies were ever printed somewhere or if it's an only chance to get these?

I saw that on there, too and was wondering where it came from.
Since those are copies, I imagine he will be selling them over and over. I've seen others do that with some Alex Toth stuff.

They look like genuine mignola though... Do let us know if any of you fellow boarders will purchase these so that we could know what to think of it... ;)

WHOA. The jpeg MM6 has a familiar-looking hand on it...
...maybe it put an idea in his head.

Don't think so Lobster... From what i'm capable to decipher from the style of these drawing they seem to be mike's style circa 97-98 which means he's allready done hellboy by that time. I might be wrong, though. ;)
Edit:
As allways it seems that carefull reading solves the problem as it says[the description]:
"This is a COPY! (NOT THE ORIGINAL DRAWINGS) that I got from a friend about 9 years ago."
which means that thanks to some dumn luck I was right... :P

Hmmm...your probably right, Khan. The more I look at the auction the more I am curious at what year they came from...

This make's mention of Mignola doing some concept art for a New Gods movie, so it looks like your guess was correct, Khan.:)

I have the whole shebang (about 20-30 different design sheets) that I purchased from a guy off of eBay several years ago. Some really interesting design stuff that Mike put together for some sort of animated series pitch at one point. I especially like his version of Metron, Granny Goodness, and Orion. Mike's a genius!

I think Mike did these for Warner Brothers right after Atlantis. Highly prized by animators. The project never went forward.
