    Default Pipeline Podcast - 11 October 2006

The #10 book of the week should be WORLDSTORM #1, not Wildstorm #1. This is the sucky part about audio -- I can't easily go in and change that. I misspoke.

I was worried that the volume levels on this podcast would be a little low, but they sound OK to me now. Hmmm...

Cool! Nice job. You snuck that shot at Land in there and got a good laugh outta me. ;)

It's almost too easy now, though, isn't it? I'd feel guilty about it if I didn't enjoy his work so much just a few short years ago. . .

I just looked up Land on google and went to his wiki site. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Land

Read that. It totally accuses him of all that stuff on the site! That's cold man...

I liked his BoP stuff, never read his CG stuff, so I dig his recent work. Don't care how photo referenced it is.

Oh so true! Do you think that we'll ever see the Greg Land who worked on Birds of Prey & Nightwing? Does the guy not care anymore about having his own style?

Wow, I missed a DOOZY this week:

Evan Dorkin's DORK #11 probably should have been the #1 book of the week.

    I'm a horrible podcaster.

LOL... no, you're not! You're a pioneer, even. And this gives me a chance to thank you for some inspiration, Augie. After checking out your podcast, I finally "got" podcasting, and started my own. I just put up the 25th Episode at www.clickcaster.com/glowinthedarkradio. Thank you for showing the way.

Thanks, Zag, and congratulations on your 25th. In this day and age, that's a real accomplishment. Way too many people think a podcast is a breeze and start one up -- only to realize that it's too much commitment and effort to do right. Making it to 25 is a strong sign. Good job!
