    Default Up, Up, and Away?

I checked the release date and asked around for the TPB, and everybody said it was released in Sept. But how come I can't find it anywhere? Was it delayed? If anyone knows, please post here.

Don't fall asleep on your laurels, my friend. I suggest you to get it before it sells out. That story kicks major ass.

Goodbye León (november 16th, 1993 - june 12th, 2009). You were, are and always will be the best friend I ever had. I will always love you and never forget you. And please, please forgive me.

Thank you for teaching me about love, patience and caring. Rest in Peace, my friend. I hope that wherever it is you are now, you can run and play as much as you want.

Oh yeah, jet right out and get it...

Or, go to the back issue bin and pick out any 8-part Superman story from the early/mid 1990's and save some money...

If you look, you might even be able to find a story with Superman in it because in Up, Up, and Away, he only makes a guest appearance near the end half of the story when he beats up Luthor in a giant robot...

    Yeah, it’s THAT original!

But don't worry, everything gets explained, and explained, and explained, and explained, and explained, and explained, and explained...

I will say this: It DID kick ass...

It kicked mine off buying the Superman titles...

And yet there was no explanation as to why he got his powers back.

EDIT: BTW, you gonna get the Johns/Donner stuff when it comes out?

    Actually, I am...

I'm interested in the upcoming storyline so I'm giving it a shot...

As for Busiek, he is writing a Superman comic that a LARGE majority of fans REALLY like so...

    I know its mostly me...:o

I just don't get all the acclaim heaped on Up, Up, and Away...

    Its soooooo ordinary...[Zzzzzzz]

All right I got a copy. The store was sold out when I checked it, and the stupid employees didn't even know that it was out. But I finally got my TPB. This story does kick ass! Thanks for responding!

I thought the explanation was that once he lost his powers, he was enjoying being Clark Kent so much that he didn't want them to return. So he had kind of a placebo effect on himself. Kind of like Spiderman in Spiderman 2, I guess.

Perhaps you could borrow a comic book from the current Action Comics/ Superman and give it a read. Just to see if you like it...

    OK. No reply. So ..

    a) no-one cares enough about Mr. Woods' work to comment
    b) no-one could be bothered to answer my question

Rest easy, Mr. Woods, I'm sure it's option (b).

Here you go... I did some research for you:

    http://www.velvettiki.com/pete/

Give it a look around. It has a listing of comics he's worked on and some work from his portfolio, etc. He's a very talented artist.
