I wish the Supes' supporting cast did more crossovers

I just read the issue about Lana being in charge of leaning Lexcorp (btw, WTF???) and it occured to me that it's nice and all that Clark tells her that he'll get to her whenever she calls, wouldn't it be nice if we got to see her working with some other superheros? I'd love for her to run into Wonderwoman (I actually thought this since Lana was second Lady and WW is a diplomat after all).

Or how about Lois making an extended visit to Gotham again or Star City?

How about Jimmy hanging out with some of the more up and coming superhero teams?

She's a placeholder until Lex returns, but it gives her something important to do and more playing time in the Superman titles. If DC were really serious about returning Lex to fugitive criminal scientist mode for all time, they would have dismantled Lexcorp after UP UP AND AWAY to symbolize that. The fact that the company is sticking around gives me much hope that the Machiavellian Lexcorp CEO will eventually return to his throne.

But to stay on topic, I did think it was neat seeing Lois over in Gotham recently, and she, Clark, Jimmy, and Lana (in her new role fronting Lexcorp) could all be used effectively in interesting cameos or extended appearances in other books to get more of a "shared universe" feel to DC without resorting to mega-crossovers.

Someone reminded me the other day that back in the '60s Jimmy Olsen and Robin (Dick Grayson) were actually good pals & had several team-up adventures. I wonder when was the last time they even appeared in a story together?

Have to wonder what kind of trouble Clark got from Lois after she got back to Metropolis because Clark never told Lois about the time he spend 1000 years with Diana in asgard. :D

True, but Lex enjoys the adoration/attention of his "subjects" (the people of Metropolis) enough, and is a skilled enough manipulator of media and perception, that he'd want to be back on top publicly (clean legal status, high public approval rating) as well as privately (money, power, control).

Covering the opening of Penguin's new casino/nightclub. He had invited media reps from all over, since it was the first in a franchise expansion.

Oh, I see what you mean; regaining control of LexCorp from behind the scenes and then coming forward and publicly clearing his name, making it easier to reassert himself in the company since he would already control it anyway. Yeah, that makes sense. I misinterpreted your post before that he would gain control of LexCorp secretly and then have some puppet publicly running it while he himself was still a fugitive and "on the run," unable to enjoy the benefits of privileges of being the public head of his company.

Exactly. He's Lex freakin' Luthor. He'll find a way to "clear" his name. But he won't waste any time, doing nothing while that happens. He must have some kind of contingency plan or something...
