Do you think that A on his head stands for Afraid of Falling!!
He's Captain F#@Kin America man!!
Plus a vibrannium laced shield does absorb the impact supposedly similar to the 616 cap.

I love it! :D
In 616 that's correct. I don't think they have made any statements about an indestructible vibration absorbtion properties in Ultimate's shield. I also seem to remember him having to "pound some dents out" or something.Originally Posted by ednemo
Of course the writer may have not known that.
I wouldn't call it Blackmail. I prefer Extortion! The "X" makes it sound Exciting!

This is better and probably what I'd answer. Cap can survive extreme situations because he's much tougher than an ordinary person because of the super serum. Then I would have to say because it is fiction and the super soldier serum turned him well a super soldier. Hell he was frozen for 50 years in a underwater iceberg in the ocean, jumping off a building shouldnt be a problem.
I don't know the Ultimates as well as some of the others, for those who do, is it accurate to say that Ultimate Cap operates at a higher power level than 616 Cap?
