Default My book I am doing.

    Ok...
    140+ pages later...
    Fun time...pain in the butt...sad times...but it's done.

I know some will dig how it looks and I know some will HATE it... it's all good because I feel the same way towards comics I read/look at.

    Please provide feedback if possible.

    Thanks!

Very cool. Is that traditional media? I can't really tell from the size of the pages.

    Default ok

    Thanks.
Some have said it's too stiff.
Perhaps it's not their cup of tea. I enjoy books like:

    and OCT from image:

They are stiff, but that's what I like and thats what I wanna do. I do not want to change my style. I don't think this is a bad thing... or is it?

    Thanks
    :)

No, not at all! Don't change your style to please critics! Do your own stuff, by all means.

I personally don't think your art is stiff. It's more photographic than cartoony, closer to illustration than to caricature, but in my book that's something to be desired. The same criticism could be flung at Alex Raymond or Hal Foster... and I love their work. Your art looks just fine the way it is!

Will you present the entire book online or will you print it?

    Thanks Raider!
I have a few ideas for the end product. I did print it out to check for errors and stuff, it looks pretty good. 140+ pages!

Thanks for the input, I am gonna stick to my guns and do my thing!

Did you look at the site or just here when viewing the images?

You said you have a book out?

Something that may contribute to the "stiff" feel of the book, is the sheer use of repeated panels.

There are so many of them, when really it is a device that could be used to slow down a certain scene and give the reader the true impact of it. When it is used as much as it is in your comic, it just slows down everything.

That said, I really enjoy your art style. There is so much to it, and you also do a good job with coloring. Keep up the good work.
