its 2006 now, n i dont know how many times ive seen tough guy characters say "Cripes" i mean c'mon if ya dont wanna swear put in #!@$ etc. i'd rather read "holy ****" than read "oh cripes"

And you probably use it because you saw it used in a comic book when you were younger. Seriously, I've rarely heard the word used outside of comics or animation. It's just a hokey word.

I see no problem with 'cripes'...but then I use 'Ah, nutbunnies' and 'nertz' in actual conversation, so what do I know?
