Default What about *Kal-L's* punches on the paradise dimension walls?

INFINITE CRISIS and its effects on the DCU timeline were a result of Superboy Prime's punching the walls of the "paradise dimension," but Superboy Prime wasn't the only one punching. In both THE KINGDOM and at the end of the first issue of INFINITE CRISIS, Kal-L too was seen punching the walls of the dimension. In fact, Kal-L might have been punching the walls longer than Superboy Prime had. What were the effects of Kal-L's punches on the paradise dimension wall?

I think there was something about Superboy-Prime having anti-matter, which was the main reason he was able to affect the universe. So, Kal-L's punches shouldn't have done anything.

I think a better question is this:

Given the hole left in space, can anyone enter the supposed paradise?

Maybe that's where Rip Hunter went off to.

There's still alot of timeline fallout even though INFINITE CRISIS is over. There's weird stuff happening with time in 52, and there are several unexplained Monitors (and an Anti-Monitor) out there.

Kal-L, being infinitely more badass than Superboy-Prime, retconned his own retcons with increasingly harder punches. Because a REAL hero knows how to clean up after himself!

So basically, if any character still has continuity problems post-INFINITE CRISIS, this is the explanation.

"Well, Superboy-Prime punched it fixed, but then Kal-L punched it right back to being broke!" :p

Superboy-Prime didn't have any antimatter power when he first started messing around with time (by punching the walls). He only gained that from Alexander Luthor just before he broke through into the Modern Age DCU.

There were a couple of JLA stories from pre-COIE that featured people from Earth-Prime and revealed that people from Earth-Prime can affect reality when on Earth-1 or Earth-2. That may offer some clue as to why Superboy-Prime was able to affect the DCU when punching the wall while Kal-L was only able to give himself bloody knuckles.

I thought that the paradise was inside of Alex Luthor? So why would there be a hole left after he left it? In fact why would there be anything left if he was no longer in it? And how could he actually be inside himself? And if punching the walls of the paradise affected the DCU, and the paradise is his body, then does that mean that the DCU is inside of Alex Luthor?

    Ouch...

Nope. In COIE Alex's body would become an anti-matter portal. To get somewhere you would pass through him, not stay inside him.
