Default did anyone else buy Zombie last week?

didn't see any posts about it...

personally, i liked it, especially the art...almost reminded me of michael golden (i think) from the Nam's stuff...

the story was pretty much a typical zombie fodder, involving a couple of idiot bank robbers, an unknowing hero and a toxic spill causing a zombie infestation...yet, nice and easy enough to be enjoyable...

hopefully the book at the very least stays consistant...

No, none. Just zombie apocalypse action.

Technically Simon Garth is the main character's name, so I would say there is some connection althought not in continuity

So I finally read it. It was okay. Not enough story for 22 (or so) pages, definitely. It felt like the first 5 minutes a movie. Don't get me wrong, I love Kyle Hotz's artwork. The story just felt... shallow.

Wasn't too bad of a first issue.I'm looking forward to the rest of the series to see how it plays out.

I saw that. I was wondering if this was maybe a revamp of his origin as the Zombie.

Its a good read. If you think Kirkmans Walking Dead has too much character development then you'll love it. Its entertaining, and thats about it.
My pull list: Captain America, Daredevil, Green Lantern, Mighty Avengers, New Avengers, Thor, Uncanny X-Men, Walking Dead, anything Mark Millar writes
