I can't believe Astonishing is kicking Uncanny's ass, as it's the weakest core x-book of the three.

this is, of course, an opinion.

not one i subscribe to, but it certainly is one. others might find the idea of Vulcan threatening the Shi'ar empire to be an over the top attempt at best.

I can't believe that the gap is that wide. I figured it would be close between all three.

I'm... enjoying... obviously Cable and Deadpool above the three core X-titles.

But Astonishing is a close second. I find the lineup a lot more interesting and character driven than the others.

I can. I'd say it was perfectly typical.

X-Men has the dialogue, the story, the art, the Rogue, the Cannonball, the Iceman, andthe Mystique. With occasional pinches of CrazySexyCool Twins (emphasis on the crazy).

Astonishing is good and all, but its cast just isn't in your face like X-Men's is. Its dialogue is outstanding in the humor department and its narrative has the ability to grab suspense, but its story isn't on the same level. I think Cassaday is improving, but I'm still not sold on his Astonishing pencils (though I am LOVING MS. MARTIN).

Uncanny started off well, but its Vulcan issues cause great disinterest in me and I find the cast *slightly* uninspiring. Tan's art is okay, but probably sitting in third place amongst the core X-pencilers.

Excuse this post for singing Carey's praises in a capella, but I'm full of enthusiasm for this run so far. ;)

    I'd say X-Men, i looove it.

Wheras Uncanny has my favourite X-Men in it (Nightcrawler and Havok), X-Men has been a better read.

Honestly, I love all three. And I don't really think I can compare them. It's like asking me whether I prefer chocolate or roller coasters or electroclash.

They're each very good, and each aim for something different. If you put new issues of all three in front of me, the order in which I would read them would totally depend on my mood at that moment.

I really can't give them a consistent ordinal ranking.

Astonishing for me, since I hate Carey's team and was unimpressed with his first issue.
But we got one of the most pointless X resurrections in Astonishing as well - I'm still waiting to find out why Colossus was brought back. :( And what's wrong with Mystique & Sabretooth as X Men?

I'm enjoying them all a good deal right now. But I can order them.

X-Men is my favorite. I never imagined that it would be but it is. It's just hitting all the right notes with me (except for the Clay Henry fill-in).

Astonishing would be second. I love Cassaday and Joss is telling a nice story. I feel I would like it better if it weren't for the delays. I think it's funny though how the cure arc was rendered so pointless after House of M.

Uncanny is pretty good too, but the story seems really slow and doesn't have as much pull for me as the other books.

I like that all of them offer something different. X-Men is action-packed and full of character, Astonishing has a great cast and a good follow-up to Morrison, and Uncanny gives us a space opera with some classic characters.

I have an idea why that may be. I've noticed that usually when someone only follows one of the three X-books, it's Whedon's. Therefore, in a poll such as this they vote for what they know, thus leading to an unexpected discrepancy.

all three are strong books, but for now xmen is the strongest..story and dialogue seem to be on solid footing and the artwork complements the words...

personal note...never been a fan of off world xmen stories...
