    Default Rahne's Revenge?

Has Wolfsbane ever confronted Mystique since getting her powers back? I was just thinking how strange it might be to have rahne go to the mansion to visit sam and find Mystique on the same team with him. Rahne really seems to have been letting loose a lot more since regaining her powers and I would love to see her let Mystique have it. What do you all think? Do you think Rahne has it in her?

I'd say she probably has it in her -- she's shown herself capable of losing control before -- but since Mystique has since claimed that it was an imposter shapeshifter who killed Moira, not her, it might be undeserved vengeance.

Myabe my memory is a bit off, but care to explain? I don't remember that. I was more referring to Mystique using the gun on her

She's lying though. Carey has stated that in HIS mind it WAS her that killed Moira.

I think it's going to come up in X-Men soon.

"It wasn't me it was an one armed man" or "it as my evil twin"
These excuses are boring and been used before.

Yeh I think it was Mystique as well. She DID help cure the legacy virus in that arc so that makes it slightly more redeemable. Sabertooth was also in that brotherhood, and his senses are almost on par with wolverine's- who''s been able to recognize Mystique even when shifted.

I like to think it was Mystique.

Mystique already confronted Rogue about stabbing her--Rahne should have her peice as well.

help to cure legacy? by attempting to mutate it to kill humans instead?

more of an accidental help, doesn't really redeem her in my book. given how important Moira was to most of the X-men, hard to imagine any of them being OK with her on the team.

Well, Mystique wasn't always that cold bitch. She was the one that tried ro warn the X-Men about not going to Dallas in Fall of the Mutants. I really think she cares about Rogue.

That said, yeah, she became really evil in the last years. Kinda hard to go back to how it was before.

Ha Ok it was a stretch. But regardless, without her mutating it it would never have been cured. :D
Wait... why did they bomb Muir again?

Even early on, she would show some affection for either Rogue or Nightcrawler.

But by Dream's End, and the assault on Muir Island, she is nearly irredeemable.

Now, I haven't read the Mystique series at all, so I don't know to what extent they attempted to make her sympathetic.

With Kurt, it was less "affection" and more "I just can't bring myself to hurt you, even though I want to." When Mystique hired Arcade to create X-Men robots for her to train on, she was able to kill all of them, including Rogue... Except Nightcrawler. She couldn't "kill" the robot, so it got her.

But yeah, the whole "It wasn't me" thing... my understanding is that whoever was writing Mystique's solo series at the time (was it BKV?) felt the Dreams' End storyline made her pretty much irredeemable and too hard to buy as a hero, so he had her say it wasn't her; but, she being a liar, still left it open for interpretation. I hadn't heard that from Carey about him feeling it WAS her, but I'm fine with it as long as he plans to address it in a way that makes sense and leaves room for her character to grow.

Well, I believed her. Mostly because all her actions in Dream's End were so completely counter-productive for mutants and several other details like Mystique recruiting Sabretooth.

Oh come on, this is X-men. It's more likely to be "but it was an alternate reality version of me," or "It was me ... from the future!"
