Nice. Thanks for posting that- that's exciting news!

So Ramos is pencilling a three issue arc, "Primary Infection." Yay! He has a quirky style very similar to Bachalo's, so I think it's a perfect match.

$20 when his issues drop, everyone is going to be freaking out, like "OMIGOD Chris got replaced already??" People can never read the fine print.

Hehe yes, or wait...no? Anyhow, I Love Ramos and his Mystique is just as great I think. Front and center. Maybe for a reason, maybe not. But his Cable is just damn great as are the others. Maybe im just hooked on Ramos.

I like it. I've always liked how he draws big, hulking figures, and I think his Cable looks good.

I don't really like Ramos art, but his Rogue looks cute. And clearly for me that's all that matters. :p

Cover looks good. Still upset Bachalo is out for a bit, but happy to see someone that isn't Clayton Henry taking over.

Yes, its so freakin great. But apart from the news, I think the interview sure as hell tells you a lot. Northstar and Aurora, Pan? A new character one of the X-men have met before, Rogue dealing with some...old boyfriend issues. I think we know who that is. Carey is my savior.

my magic 8 ball said you're hooked on Ramos, and it's usually right. Other than the funky boobs, the cover looks gorgeous.

    Its a nice Cover.

Shame about the C's on Cannonball though.

Everyone makes them obviously C's, wheras Bachalo makes them look like a Cannonball with a l'il chunk taken out so it's a C aswell.

The more and more I read an issue of "X-Men" or read a newsarticle about Carey's book, the more and more I get excited about it. Like, I love this book soo effing much right now. It seems like he has some amazing plans, and I excited with all the names he's dropping.... Gambit, Lila, Husk, etc. And the fact that Northstar and Aurora are going to be revisited and might find a home with the X-Men makes me wet my pants. Seriously, I love what he's doing. Love love love it.

Nice news that Ramos will be doing the second arc. His artistic style is similar enough to Bachalo's that the change should be pretty smooth.

    Interesting interview.

    Most important things are:

In the next few issues, readers can look forward to "the awakening of Lady Mastermind, the resolution of this sick love thing between Sam and Serafina, and a very spectacular fight sequence on board a flying oil tanker. Oh, and a big final reveal which changes the significance of a lot of what we've seen. Rogue's team doesn't come out of this fight the same way they went in
"'Primary Infection' takes us back to the situation we came in on in #188 - the X-Men's raid on the John Fordyce clinic and the question of why someone is kidnapping and dissecting mutants. The trail will take them from NYC to India - and of course Karima and Lady M, who are the characters most directly affected by what was happening at the Fordyce, are very keen to be in the forefront of the action."

Seems all characters like Mystique, Karima, Lady M and Sabretooth will stay on the team for a while longer

And just who is Pan? Is he a new character? Or an old foe (friend?) making a comeback? "He's new," Carey said. "It turns out that one of the X-Men has met him before, but it wasn't on-panel and it wouldn't have seemed significant at the time. Pan's not his whole name, by the way - just the first syllable of it."

Characters like Northstar and Aurora will almost certainly reappear, and may find a place in the team. We want to revisit Husk. We've got plans for Lila Cheney. And yes, Gambit will be revisited too: there's no way Rogue is just going to let that situation lie.
