    Default Supernatural Season 2

Ok let me start by saying i completely missed season one, i always assumed, it was a Vehicle for 2 WB stars, that the channel didnt want to lose, nothing more

not being a fan of Grey's i decided to give it a go. and was pleasantly surprised, the show is alot grittier and darker than i assumed, with characters that seems ot be mini constantines. I liked the reaper. using a hot chick chick to fool the main character into talking the reaper was a cool idea, and i liked how that actress acted her role, i think it could have been alot hokier, but it came off rather well. and i like h ow the father made the deal with that demon again, coming off rather constantinish, although constantine would have found a way to not give up his life in the process.

all in all this will probably remaun my thursday night at 9 attention holder

This was definitely the best new show of the past season, and it continued to not disappoint tonight.

Already being a fan of the show, I've been waiting for this to premier for ages, and it couldn't have been better. Loved the sub-plot with Dean and the Reaper, as well as the fleshing out of the mystery over Sam's powers. I guess they're not such a good thing, considering the Demon seems to think he's not a threat because of them.

Still, the best thing about the show is and always has been the characters and their chemistry on screen. For that reason, I'm sad to see the father go, but I have a suspicion that he may not be as dead as we think.

    Praise be to Nero's Neptune,
    The Titanic sails at dawn,
    And everybody's shouting,
    "Which Side Are You On?"

And Ezra Pound and T. S. Eliot,
    Fighting in the captain's tower,
While calypso singers laugh at them,
    And fishermen hold flowers.
Between the windows of the sea,
    Where lovely mermaids flow,
And nobody has to think too much,
    About Desolation Row.

We aren't exactly sure. So far, off the top of my head, he has shown precognitive dreams/visions and telekinesis.

Good Question. That main Demon just said that Sam was 'Special', hopefully we will find out what powers Sam has and why hes so special in the next few episodes.

I really didnt expect there dad to die, I just figured that he would dissapear to be tortured to be confined to a wheel chair or something.
Dean: So, what do we do now?
Castiel: I suggest we imbibe copious quantities of alcohol... just wait for the inevitable blast wave.

My current theory is that all these children were fathered by the Demon. Might explain why Sam and the dad always had trouble connecting the way Dean and the dad did. Might also explain the way Dean was acting around Sam for a while there, kinda Standoffish

"Dude, I totally "Swayze'd that mother!"
--Dean after he knocks over a glass ---hilarious

This show continues to impress me.

I really liked the way last season ended. THat truck came out of nowhere!! This was a good episode, no bones about it. I like that they used this to end the "three part arc" (so to speak) that started at the end of last season.

AS stated by Armless Penguin, the way that I've been advertising this show to my friends is by using teh chemistry between the characters. I really like their relationship.

The monster of the week thing is to be expected. It's very "Buffy/Angel" in that way and i don't mind that. You watch those episodes for the subplots anyway. Remember that Airplane episode in the beginning of the season? The ending was really touching, (the boys found a recorded voicemail of their father's cell phone, saying that if anyone needs help, look for my sons Sam and DEan). Seeing the grown boys, so tough and gangsta in prior episodes, suddenly look like weeping children was really deep. Or how about the episode when they play pranks on each other the whole time.

Dean's protective nature and love for Sam is really well done too. He would always make fun of Sam when he started getting all mushy, like "Dean, i just want you to know how much you mean to me," and Dean would say something like "Dude, no chick flik moments". Then, as the Father returns and they start hunting the Main Demon, Dean shows his emotional side, saying how he can't lose his family.

It's written well enough that none of it gets too corny. The way this episode ended was deep too. I really liked teh father's character. Poor Guy----he died on Grey's Anatomy last year too. He can't seem to stay alive anywhere:( I wonder if his soul is in tact, though, and maybe they can find a way to bring him back.

I'm just curious to see how they'll stop this F___er now that they have no Colt. And what new monsters from mythology and such we'll see next.

---Can't wait to see things unfold/////damn i wish it wasn't at the same time as Grey's. Supernatural will usually win out for me since i'm a comic guy.:D

A very good episode last night. And wow, the Dad yet again died on a TV show. He's been killed on three TV shows in less than a year. AMAZING.

This show actually gets better each week. It was a nice watch at first, but since the Scarecrow episode from the first season, it kind of hit a different level....big time. I just wish all the episodes were filmed to look like the Scarecrow episode. That was one of the best looking episodes ever on television.
We'd like to wish EZMOHR all the best in his future....ah forget it.

Fucking love this show! Everyone gotta know John isn't dead for good. Guy can't really die in three shows in a row. Like Dean said just get some of this magic they know and bring back the dead. Hopefully not as a Zombie.

Sounds excellent. I absolutely love this show, but it's my biggest fear is that it will be cancelled prematurely and we'll never get the answers we're hoping for.

Last year's final two episodes was one of the greatest 2 hours of television I've ever seen, and possibly the best season finale for any show I've ever seen.

It's starting to look like this year's won't disapoint.
