Default How many times has Wolverine used claws on other X-Men?

I'm wondering just how many times we've seen Wolvie actually draw blood by using his claws on anyone who is, or used to be, a fellow member of the X-Men.

I'll just mention a couple of fairly recent examples, to start the ball rolling.

    1. He killed Jean Grey with his claws in "New X-Men #148." It was supposed to be a mercy killing to keep her from roasting the way he was about to as the asteroid they were on plunged toward the sun. (Naturally, she made a fast recovery.)

    2. He clawed Jean over and over and over again in "Phoenix: Endsong," because she specifically asked him to do so, for her own good!

I can think of at least a couple of other times, but I'll shut up now and let someone else participate! :)

His attack on Rachel when she tried to kill Selene is probably the best example.

And though not an X-Man he stabbed Shatterstar in the gut in X-Cutioner's Song.

A drunken Wolverine nearly slices Alison Blaire in half when Horde enters the mansion in Uncanny X-Men Annual #11.

The most prominent example in when Wolverine stabs Phoenix II (Rachel Summers) in the heart & lungs to prevent her murdering Selene, the Black Queen, in the heat of passion; however, thanks to Rachel's powers as Phoenix, she survives the assault, despite her mortal wounds in Uncanny X-Men #207. This in one of my most favorite stories too.

Let me get this straight: Did he actually draw blood? Or did he completely miss her tender flesh by a fraction of an inch?

I think I understood his reasoning in that story -- but I've never quite understood why none of the other X-Men had any harsh words for him when they found out about it, after the fact.

In "Enemy of the State" he slashed Havock, though the wound was apparently minor, not to mention he killed Northstar that same issue.

There's also the times he stabbed Jean. Ack, that one's taken too. I'll come up with something else when I've thought about it longer.

    Edit: Magneto?

A little off-topic, but it should be noted that Wolverine is an X-Man that has also been stabbed by the claws. The ever-fabulous Jessica Drew put those damns things through his throat, after he tried to go all feral on her. It was great.

Shadowcat is horrified Wolverine nearly kills Phoenix & scolds him for it. Storm tells the X-Men that the deed is done; therefore, nothing can be done about it except find Phoenix. Storm tells Wolverine he should have got the other X-Men before he found Phoenix by himself. His claws were not the answer.

But nobody ever talked about putting him on suspension or probation or whatever, did they? If I were a superhero and a teammate said, "I just stabbed our mutual teammate so-and-so in the chest for her own good," I'd have some serious doubts about whether I wanted to continue working alongside this guy at all!

Wolverine cut Magneto a little in X-Men (2nd Series) #1. They weren't really teammates at that point anymore, but still.

A delusion of Wolverine offered Storm death in Uncanny X-Men #198.

And yeah, Wolverine stabbing Phoenix in Uncanny X-Men #207 was mentioned. That's the best example.

Does using his claws count as using his claws to threaten his teammates? Because he always threatens people when he talks.

Just, hypothetically, say he's in a locker room bathroom talking to someone:
"I'm the best at what I do, and what I do isn't shaving, bub!" *Snikts in dramatic manner* *starts shaving face with claws*

I know in the first cartoon (yay guitar intro!) he did stuff like that every time he spoke. Then again, indestructable claws on TV are only good for cutting walls, rope, fences, and NOT people.

When I started this thread I said "actually draw blood." I don't just want spoken threats, I don't even want times when he swung his extended claws at someone and missed them completely. I want bloodshed for it to count!

The X-Men were with the Morlocks at the time hoping the Healer could help Wolverine's wounds heal faster. After The Mutant Massacre--with Shadowcat, Colossus, & Nightcrawler all wounded in battle against the Marauders--Wolverine & Storm held the X-Men together in the wake of revamping the team with Dazzler, Psylocke, & Havok. A suspension was out of the question.

Wolverine also lead the team when Storm went on her vision quest to regain her elemental powers with the help of Forge's teacher, Naze (unaware he is actually the evil Adversary).
