    Default Frontline #6 *spoilers*

Urich isn't fired, Sally is sitting in a waiting room getting interrogated and Reed offers a deal, exactly as in the preview.

Urich is covering the big battle in Civil War 3/4. Nighthawk fights and seems to down a SHIELD plane (may explain why he left in 4). Urich then interviews Stark and calls him to the carpet about the villain program, Stark has no comment.

Back at Fantasy Island, Speedball narrates in the form of a letter to his mother (who hates him as I recall). A far worse portrayal than in ASM of the Negative Zone prison. They seem to be on dirt floors without even beds (amazing when you have JMS of all people appearing more fair). Including someone with the power to rearrange his body creating a gun on his arm and killing himself. Reed meets Speedball and arranges that he meet with Congress to discuss his views (what, is Jenkins portraying Reed in a good light...say it isn't so!?). Eh maybe it isn't so...Speedball gets shot on his way to the Capital Building.

Wonder Man follows the Atlantian sleeper cell, Wonder Man at first thinks about attacking him but the SHIELD guys order him not to. He follows the person to a hidden base where they are planning terrorist attacks(complete with little KABOOM symbols on a city map). Guess we should be glad SHIELD signed him up and he didn't beat the guy up on his way there.

Oh so you think that was a fair portrayal? I guess...oh wait what's on the next page? Oh great...They are comparing SHIELD and the battle in Civil War 3/4 to Nazi's blitzkriegers during WWII and Nighthawk as the Royal Airforce in the Battle of Britian. Oh yeah... it only took 6 issues to compare pro-reg to Nazi's. I can't wait to see what is next, cannibals and child molesters maybe!?

My word... this is getting simply ghastly.

The debate over the SHRA is kind of moot now. We're not debating the SHRA... we're starting to debate freakin' Adolf Hitler.

Ah they mentioned in the issue the person was Digitek (an obscure UK hero judging by wikipedia). Jenkins sure loves killing off obscure heroes. Oh and of course...they didn't clean up the blood...wee!

Also another person in there by the name of Battlestar who has sharapnel in his back from his fight with SHIELD, and of course they aren't giving him painkillers or surgery or anything for.

Speedball is getting more coherant by the minute! He really laid into Reed in this issue. I think he maid the supergenius mr. fantastic look like a gimp. "Where's the trial?" He asks?

When Speedball gets shot (a la Lee Harvey and Jack Ruby) it was pretty amazing. Especially since She-Hulk's dialogue indicated Robbie was being set up by the government.

Reed asked about Robbie's power surge during the boxing match witch leads me to believe him being shot will jump-start his powers back into action!

    SPEEDBALL SHALL RISE AGAIN!

Well wouldn't the fact that Reed asked him about the boxing match and then they shared there little look about "ensuring your safety" indicate that Reed and him are actually behind the shooting so he can get his powers back? And I guess make a real show of his Congressional hearing. That guy was shooting at point blank range and only seemed to hit his shoulder afterall. Heh, Conspiracy theories everywhere I guess...

Anyway if they just wanted him dead there were more than enough chances before that.

    I liked Urich grilling Tony.

Speedball's part wasn't too bad either until the whole lee harvey oswald homage picture.

    The nazi thing was horrible....

I hate hate hate the end section of Frontline. F**king Nazis? I'm dropping this title.
My pull list: Captain America, Daredevil, Green Lantern, Mighty Avengers, New Avengers, Thor, Uncanny X-Men, Walking Dead, anything Mark Millar writes

Those end section things started out bad and have just gotten worse as the series has progressed. They're insultingly bad.

You've got to be kidding me?! I mean, granted, Frontline more than any other Civil War related comic is making it all to clear that we're supposed to hate the registration side, but THIS? Fans have been saying the pro-regs have been acting like Nazis and now with one issue Jenkis says they are. "No right or wrong side" my ass.

Why? Because you need the story to balanced to enjoy it? Pro is clearly acting in a totalitarian manner and using force in an overwhelming manner. So, the comparison is apt.

I really don't understand why people care about Marvel Editorial & Marketing's promise to be balanced with the story. Clearly they lied or were mistaken. Get over it. Either enjoy the story for it's own merits, or not.

Battlestar? As in the same guy who used to partner up with USAgent and then went to work for Silver Sable?
