I've read it, and all his stuff. I find Moore to be good but not as good as everyone says he is. I thought Lamb was his best, closely followed by Island of the Sequined Love Nun, and Fluke his least best. Looking forward to his next one, You Suck (sequel to Bloodsucking Fiends.

I recently read Coyote Blue, my first Moore book. It was a good, solid read but I don't think he's as good as some have made him out to be. My main problem actually is that for an apparently "humorous" author, the novel just wasn't as funny or as zany as it promised to be. This probably has to do with the fact that British writers tend to be far better suited to zany humours than their American counterparts. Yes, I realize that that's probably a huge generalization and Woody Allen for example has proven to be a huge exception to this rule but I still think there's at least some truth to this particular generalization. To put it simply, hold this up against the better work of Terry Pratchet or better yet Douglas Adams and Robert Rankin and tell me that it's even in the same league of insanity and laugh-out-loud hilarity as these guys. So basically, I did enjoy the book and I will give at least one more of his novels a try but I would be lying if I said I wasn't dissapointed.
