Villains United was about the real Lex Luthor forming a new Secret Six to combat Alexander Luthor's Society of Super-Villains. The Return of Donna Troy was about Donna being reborn with all of her various lives in her memories in order to fight the Greek Titans and keep them from reaching a weapon buried in New Cronus.

If you read Infinite Crisis, then 52 is a pretty decent follow-up with loads of characters and a sweet monthly release.

Batman - Face The Face & Superman - Up Up & Away are good storyarcs Post-IC.

I would recommend Wonder Woman as well, but the new bi-monthly schedule might not be to your liking.

GL's OYL storyarc is really good as well. It also briefly talks about the aftermath with Superboy Prime.

And like Jack said, 52 is a good direct follow-up to IC. Plus it's weekly.

There is a good Crisis story timeline.

    My short synopsis:

Villains United: Catman, Cheshire, Deadshot, Scandal Savage, Para-Demon and Ragdoll, 6 villains, are brought together by the mysterious Mocking Bird after they refuse to join Lex Luthor's Society. Mockingbird makes them do his bidding or else he'll harm each one of them in some personal way, such as killing off their children.

These 6 rub up against Luthor's society and end up battling them, getting captured, escaping and battling them some more. Eventually they are betrayed by Cheshire after she has slept with Catman to try and get preggers, only the Society doesn't want her and shoots her when they raid the 6's base.

Eventually its revealed that Mockingbird is really Lex Luthor and that the Lex Luthor running the Society is an impostor. Luthor tells the six that he was lying and would never hurt their families though and they're free to go if they can make it out of the Society attack alive, which they do, except for Parademon who blows himself up to save the others.

Catman and Deadshot are teamed up it seems, and Catman meets Green Arrow to tell him of the plans they discovered of the Society's to wipe out all the hero's memories similar to how they did to Dr. Light. Catman and Green Arrow scuffle and Catman essentially says the heroes should be better than that.

I'd recommend getting Villains United though, I Really enjoyed it consider I knew almost nothing about those 6 characters previously.

Donna Troy was kinda lame. She died before, some Gods resurrected her, they are invading some world which has a gateway to another universe. Donna has split personalities of sorts. Some of the Titans and Outsiders are brought across space to the planet this battle is taking place on. There they team with DOnna to stop the Gods, and Donna with the help of her God husband traps all the other Gods in a hell of sorts. Then she remains behind by herself on some mount olympus named planet/base when the others go back to Earth, and then she has a vision of the Crisis coming.

I thought this one was kinda lame. I'd say skip it, personally.

I just want to point out that the Return of Donna Troy doesn't involve gods, it involves titans. They are still gods, but they aren't the Greek gods.

I meant to say they aren't just gods, they are a group called titans, older godly beings within the mythos. So, they are gods, just not the Olympians.

I've got a similar question. I've got Superman: Infinite Crisis and JLA: World Without a Justice League on order from Amazon, but I'm waiting for the TPB of Infinite Crisis. Should I wait until I've read IC before reading the Superman and JLA books?

    Thanks

    Dan

There should be an Infinite Crisis timeline still around here somewhere. I'd suggest checking that. To my knowledge, you can read the World Without a Justice League whenever; it would probably be better to read it before IC. I don't remember what the Superman Infinite Crisis issue was (one with an OMAC?), but I don't remember a Superman issue that tied into the actual event. It may have tied into events leading to it, though. I suppose you can read either one before the other and before IC. Check the timeline. I'm not good with this sort of thing.

World without Justice happens during Infinite Crisis #1, but I think you can read it at anytime. Superman: IC, however happens during IC #5 and is full of spoilers.
