If you can't handle someone disagreeing with your opinion, you might want to reconsider hanging out on a message board.

Well, I'm not high right now, but I am pretty mighty. Sure, there are artists I think are crappy, but I don't think that there's a particular style of art that "isn't right" for comics.

I don't want all my comics to be the same.

And there's no necessary distinction between "museum" art and cartooning art.

This is so going to sound snotty and I so don't mean it to, but if you don't like having your intelligence questioned then you can do a few things. Minor things like punctuating and capitalizing correctly would help a bit. You know, making sure your writing is up to stuff technically. And you also kind of tend to talk at length about things you really don't know or understand. I remember when you were talking about the lack of homeless Asian folk, for instance. You also don't really seem to be much of an expert or even knowledgeable about art, so talking out of your butt about these things is going to make people question your intelligence.

Either that, or you're operating on an incorrect definition of the word.

    According to Dictionary.com:

    an‧ti-in‧tel‧lec‧tu‧al
–noun 1.a person opposed to or hostile toward intellectuals and the modern academic, artistic, social, religious, and other theories associated with them. 2.a person who believes that intellect and reason are less important than actions and emotions in solving practical problems and understanding reality. –adjective 3.of, pertaining to, or characteristic of anti-intellectuals or their beliefs.

None of that says anything about the intelligence of the person in question.

Taking offense at a word for a meaning it doesn't have, though...

    Did I say that anywhere?

Just know SOMETHING about what you're saying. Don't make opinions up out of the ether, like you've done on white supremacists, the homeless, art, and a myriad of other topics, I'm sure.

I'm trying to insult you. I'm trying to help you understand why people react the way they do.

You're anti-intellectual because you don't want "high art" in your comics.

people react the way they do on here because they can get away with it .
my opinons on the stuff youve noticed comes from my experience and my experience tells me that i have never met a homeless asian person but thats not to say it doesnt exist its just that ive never seen it .
of course tulsa is not known for its asian population.
art is very subjective and when i see someone who draws magma with large swirly over the top eyes then in my subjective opinion he sucks .
are you going to tell me that when he drew batman on the 500th anniversey special and when he gave him huge crooked teeth that was acceptable artwork to you?

You need to realize some fault in the way you're treated is yours. Denying that only makes things worse. Sure, people treat you unfairly and it's not all your fault, but it partially is.

You sometimes try to pass off ignorant or misinformed statements as "just your opinion." No, they're wrong.

Sienkewicz is one of the greatest artists to ever grace superhero comics. I love his work.

if people treat me unfairly then how is it my fault? i wish you people would understand me better its really starting to frustrate the hell out of me im tired of being picked on just because i dont say the politically correct things all the time
i dont think ive ever said anything ignorant i can only speak from stuff ive experience for example i cant say theres a large homeless population in tawain because ive never been there and ive never seen anything that says there is i dont understand how thats ignorant.
