    Default Paris Hilton charged...

It looked like she was being let off easy, when she got busted a month ago, but she's now been charged with Driving Under the Influence. I only hope that the legal stuff prevents her from making movies and singing for awhile!

I dunno, a friend of mine has a cousin whose sister did Paris' makeup for her music video, and she's apparently not that bad.

She may come across nicely, and I've heard from a number of people that she can actually be sweet, but I've had to watch (the unrelenting coverage of) her moving through town, parlaying her name and family's wealth, along with what seems optimistically, "bad behaviour" into mega-stardom, and I'd rather see that light shine on someone with actual talent.

    KRAMER'S LAWS:
    1) Most people are stupid.
    2) Most people who aren't stupid often behave as if they were stupid.
    3) Many people who are not stupid nonetheless believe a lot of astonishingly stupid things.

Her album has already lost its momentum. She's going to have to do something about that. Maybe, sing without lip-synching? Otherwise, her music "career" is toast.

In LA, we have 7 stations, which have about 15 hours of "news" programs a day, a piece, and Paris Hilton is often on all of them, over and over and over. If you're trying to see something else, you often have to sit through the Hilton Report to get to whatever it is you wanted to see.
