Street children in Miami talk about the dethronement of God and the battle between the angels and demons.

I just came across this today, despite the age of the article. Has anyone else ever heard of this? It seems rather hauntingly beautiful to me, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's true. Snopes doesn't seem to have anything on this piece, so there's one avenue of verification gone.

If its true, its interesting to see a new bit of folklore developing, and how it breaks the mold from previous stories. Particularly how God is shown as fallible in these stories, which is something I've never really heard happening in any Christian-inspired folklore (as these stories seem to be).

So, what does everyone else think of this? Real or fake? If you assume real, any theories behind any of the stories?

Yeah, the material itself is nice and spooky. I remember the first time I read it, I got chills.

Thinking back, the source for said debunking wasn't 100% credible, so it's possible that was bad information.

You do realise that the link in my original post is just the printable version of that link, right?

And being part of an actual newspaper doesn't make it true. Particularly since I'm not entirely sure of the pedigree of the Miami New Times. Is there anybody from Miami on the board who would be willing to vouch for it? And there's always the chance that it was a practical joke by the newspaper, like the chef who cooked people and endangered species story that I linked to a while back. Oddly enough that came from a paper called the New Times as well, although that it was a Phoenix paper and they're probably unrelated.
