    Default Growing Pains

Anybody going though some changes in their lives? I find I'm getting to a richer, mellower period, where I am taking responsiblity for everything I do, and loving it. Not that every experience is a feelgood moment, but the thought of leaving everything to chance is over. I'm putting a lot of moretime and effort into completing my tasks.

Getting married six years ago was a big adjustment and growing experience for me (classic, spoiled only child here). Now that I'm a dad, I have a whole new realm of growth to get into. Tera is number one now and she's got to be put first in everything.

I'm not going to say that the adjustment for me or my wife has been easy, but it's been well worth it.

I hear you. I'm not a parent, but when i moved a year ago, I left my support system behind, and I have been haphazzard about life, but I'm seeing that I was in the wrong, and am taking steps to correct myself, and to maintian a better life.

I got married earlier this year, and have a new baby daughter, and it's been just a great experience for me personally. I'm also working at school and find myself taking on more of a leadership role in my position, which has also been really enjoyable.

I can still remember growing pains.

    They sucked.

Did '80s family sitcoms suck more than current ones ?

    I'd say yes.

I just had a boca soy patty and fat free cream cheese. I would say that I'm ready to kill somebody but I've been tired since I woke up. I think I'm going to have to up my calorie intake.

It's definitely a tumultuous time for me, both for good and bad. I started not just a new job, but a new career a few months ago. I've run into some health problems which really knocked me flat on my back a month ago, but I seem to be bouncing back from. I'm rededicating myself to making a push to get the dozens of projects I've got flying around in my skull published. I've got a list of things about my life I want to change. Some of the changes are underway. I'm trying to get to the other ones now.

Best wishes with your progress. I know how trying and rewarding changes can be.

Just what kind of torture are you putting yourself through (more than usual)?

My current intake is 1200 callories. That numbers does go up to 2500 if I'm training more than two hours a day. I've put on a lot of weight and I want to get it off. Now!
