This is getting ridiculous...this is the flagship WS title and its been delayed over a month already...I don't understand this...is Wildcats going to ship on the same schedule as All-Star Batman & Robin?

Wow that sucks. I read in lying in the gutters that the Boys has been delayed also. I'm saddened that all the titles I'm excited about are suffering delays.

    Default Wildcats Delayed Again

I hope that Jim Lee doesn't hand over wildcats to someone else, I actually enjoyed Jim Lee on his take on the first Wildcats series. I hope that the new wildcats is worth the delay.

I agree this is out of hand. All Star is at 6 months between issues, and Wildcats has started late.

Jim had this to say: "OK been INSANELY busy trying to get Wildcats and Batman work done...unfortunately I'm behind on both but look to be more caught up by year's end. I love drawing and never want to stop so please bear with me. Been a very stressful summer for me but things seem more on track now... "

I really hope this is the case. Jim said at one point that after #5 of All Star, it would ship ontime, or at leas tmore on time. I dunno bout Wildcats.

I honestly susspect that thie massive delay on All Star is Jim trying to get a few issues ahead of himself on both books... in the mean time, here is a page from Wildcats!

honestly? right now i'm hoping that happens. Lee's bitten off more than he can chew and by now it's obvious he should pass on the plate to someone else. there are enough good artists out there that can carry Wildcats.

Bitten off more than he can chew? Is he doing anything other than the two bi-monthly titles of Wildcats and All-star Batman and Robin? Maybe he has company stuff to do, but I would hope he could handle the art for two bi-monthly titles....

I like Jim's art, but late titles just get on my nerves so bad. This relaunch has been planned for what, a over a year and a half now? This delay is crazy.

My most anticpated comic of the year and it keeps getting delayed. I hate it when stuff like this happens.

And I seriously hope, somehow, that we get to see the page that is supposedly the reason for the delay. :D

I beleive he was also working on some kind of video game...not sure if that's still going on.

I can still wait...the page he had on his myspace page looks awesome! Well worth the wait.

I distinctly recall that Newsarama reported that Jim Lee will be doing concept art for the new DCU MORPG. And there was some other DC-related project. Plus, lest we forget, he is the Editorial Director of Wildstorm.

As for the page... I am a bit confused as to what's going on there. I suppose I'll have to wait until it's colored. With Sandra Hope inking and Alex Sinclair coloring (hopefully), this will look sweet.

As for the delay, I am, quite frankly, baffled that his Superman and Batman was more on time then the series he originally created. But, considering that even ASBAR is running late, I can't be too harsh.

No worries. ;) The uncensored Authority pages showed up online. I don't see why this would be any different.
