    Default Jericho

so who's gonna watch this?,it LOOKS promosing.i think it premires tonight it stars skeet ulrich (remember him? lol)
Thirty-two year old Jake Green (Skeet Ulrich) makes a brief return to his childhood home in rural and isolated Jericho, Kansas, to much fanfare from his mother and friends, who have only had intermittent contact with him. Jake appears to be hiding something, as each of his interactions with one of the town's citizens elicits different explanations of why he was out of touch for so long, which include playing minor league baseball and serving in both the Army and Navy. Despite objections from his mother, Jake plans to leave Jericho as quickly as he arrived.During Jake's exit from town, the electronic equipment in and around Jericho begins to fail. At the same time, a mysterious, possibly nuclear explosion occurs to the west (presumably at Denver, Colorado), and a mushroom cloud suddenly becomes visible above the Rocky Mountains. Distracted by the explosion, Jake is involved in a car accident and is forced to walk back to Jericho. On his way back to town, Jake becomes an unlikely hero as he tends to a bus full of schoolchildren (and their teacher) stranded by the blast. As he returns to town, evening falls...and word spreads that a second explosion has occurred in Atlanta, Georgia.

With communications and power out, Jake and the small town of Jericho face the challenge of being physically and psychologically isolated from the outside world - not knowing what is left of that world, or how many others are still alive - and of finding a means of survival in the midst of panic and chaos.

seems mad max-ish.but i'll watch just because its not a cop/leagal/medical drama.BTW did anybody watch the pilot? cause i heard it was available on yahoo.

I watched it on yahoo although for some reason the last scene cut out on me so if anyone else can tell me what happens as a certain blonde chick is getting out of her car I'd appreciate it. It cut out right there.

As to the show. It has potential to be good. I'm a bit worried that its going to be hokey though. Seemed like Mayberry rather than Mad Max. Hopefully there will be some dark secrets, plot twists, and stuff coming.

Okay, before this thread this is what I knew about Tish, zip, zero, nada.
I now know that Tish is a heavily armed, black, bi-sexual, truck driving woman who likes going to the clubs.

I almost missed this whole thing. My wife was telling me about it last night, but couldn't remember the name. From her Description, I was thinking, did they bring Alas, Babylon to the screen?

I'll give it a watch. IT seems to be reminisent of Jeremiah, and I loved that show.

...wow, that was great! I have to be honest I was kind of getting annoyed of all the previews for this show, but after watching it tonight, they tottaly have my attention. Really gave me an un-easy feeling in my stomach, that creepy message left by the mom, the fact that all the animals are dead, the broke down empty prisoner bus, I know its such a rip-off of the 'Lost' concept, but I find it super interesting, im ready for more!

Next weeks previews make it look like they are going to have to deal with fallout and such. Good. Helps alleviate my concern that this show might turn into Mayberry.

I had a great time watching it. It was a really good show, that I see potential in. I liked Major Dad in it....he seems like he's gonna be grizzled enough to get the job done. Plus, the St. Louis cop seems like he's gonna be like a McGuyver type dude......it's always cool to have a McGuyver type. Plus, there's a crazy psycho killer on the loose, that always helps a show.
We'd like to wish EZMOHR all the best in his future....ah forget it.
