Every one of these stores should have a School poster to give to you for free with a purchase of a School issue. And thank the person behind the counter for keeping a wonderful shop!

Fall is here and winter is coming, but that doesn't mean I'm settling in and doing nothing. Here is a good tentative list of conventions and events upcoming which I will appear at to sign books, sell merchandise, give out hugs and do a little dancing:

    Fall Con
    October 7-8, 2006
    Minnesota State Fairgrounds
    St.Paul, MN

    Madison Zine Fest
    October 21, 2006
    University of Wisconsin
    Madison, WI

    Art on the Town
    November 17, 2006
    Sparkadoodles
    Appleton, WI

    Mid-Ohio Con
    November 25-26, 2006
    Greater Columbus Convention Center
    Columbus, OH

I am having a very, very special sale designed specifically for FallCon. I will have long boxes of various comic books and trade paperback collections with me at my table. For every copy of School: A Ghost Story you buy at this convention, you get to pick a single issue from these long boxes which will be yours for free. For every two issues of School, you may get to pick a trade paperback collection for free. If you buy issues #1-#3, you get two trades. Yep. You read that right. Just for your support by purchasing my book, YOU GET FREE COMICS. So please stop on down to the State Fairgrounds and see me, I've got lots of great things for you!

Thanks for taking a minute with me, and I hope to see you at a convention one day! Take care!

That's awesome. :) I got signed copies of #'s 1 & 2 from you at HeroesCon... they're still sitting in my dresser drawer b/c they're that weird shape and size... but it's meant that I haven't forgotten about them. I really liked the first two.

The shipping from that place is a killer tho... I'll definitely order it when I can find enough stuff there to make it worth the $7 to ship it... :-/

I've actually spoke with the IP guys about that, because you're not the first person to say so about this problem; there was a glitch in the programming which they fixed and now the shipping charge is a LOT more feasible.

Also, I have just recently added a PayPal feature to order from me directly at my website, and shipping charges is a fraction of the cost. If I don't hear from you sooner, I'll see you at next year's Heroes Con! :)

Are you kidding me?? That was REALLY fast, and the greeting from Lindsay was really cool too. :) Thanks a lot!

The story definitely didn't start where I thought it would (but it's been a while since I got #2). Getting a good dose of pre-murder Lindsay was a lot of fun and definitely helped give the character some more depth. bravo! It's starting to look like her life wasn't much better than her death tho. poor Lindsay...

I don't think the janitor did it either. Yeah, he's kind of creepy, but I don't imagine his little pasttime is too very uncommon for school employees.

kind of slow/introspective all around, which was nice and made the "cliffhanger" ending somewhat unexpected... although I probably should have expected it...

oh. And the bathroom scene? Gross, man. and, again, poor Lindsay... you didn't even have to show anything, and it was still gross. Here's hoping she finds at least SOME resolution to everything.

    Thanks again!

And thank YOU! SOOOOO very glad you liked it :) I appreciate your comments on it thus far; and I know you'll love what's coming up.

Issue 4 is being diligently worked on, and I have to admit to tooting my own horn here but the art for this one is by far the best I've ever done. I really feel like I improved the lettering, the panel layout, the flow of action - so, cannot wait until I get done with the issue so I can show you and the rest of the CBR forums what I've finished!

Again, thank you! I hope you will enjoy the forthcoming issues! :D

And here are the other two:

It doesn't look good for our girl, Lindsay.

I'm hoping - hoping - to have #4 ready for the Staple con in Austin. I'll keep you guys and gals updated.

I'm incredibly confident with the work I have for #4, the lettering issue I had in the past is now completely resolved and really taking off.

There is also a big announcement about this story at the end of this issue! Do you want to know now? YOU DO, DON'T YOU? Tough tits! Buy my comic, help me have money to buy food and find out for yourself, neener neener neener! Yes, I'm a little bit sadistic. But it's like a spanking, it stings but you love it oooooooh so much you saucy little minx.
