    Default Your Ideal (adj) Xteam

What would be your ideal X-lineup, what would you call your team? Pick, mix and match, from anyone who could concieveably be an XMan (use common sense, i.e. Shadow King, will never join a Xteam and be a good guy). Let's see what 5 to 8 you would throw on a team and why, or just maybe a list with whoever you think would make a good field leader.

    Mine are the Underground X-Men
My group would be more for covert op's, the stuff no one is supposed to know about. Kind of like the Mystique series.

Bishop- Field leader. He's Bishop, he's a bad@$$, he's got training on how to take down almost any mutant, and he seems to thrive on the detective elements, so the cloak and dagger stuff might be right up his alley.

Mystique- Undercover. She's the perfect undercover agent. She can look like anyone, and she has no real morals, or inhibitions, no matter the job she'll get it done.

Deadpool- Enforcer. Too unpredictable to try and have him do the undercover work, but his image inducer would help him to certain degrees. He used to be one of the definitive bad@$$' of the MU and he could be again. He would be usefull for stealth work and intimidation. He's not a mutant, but he's got one's healing factor, plus neither was Mimic. Oh and he fills out a Marvel Girl outfit like it's no one's business.

Shortpack- Communications. Not much use if they have to fight, but he can coordinate Bishop's commands telepathically to the others, and he can get in and out of some places undetected, so you can have multiple agents in one environment.

AgentZero/Maverick- Agent. He may or may not have powers (it's still kind of up in the air who's got powers and who doesn't, his name has been shown on those who don't but I think if they wrote a good story for him he'd show up.) but he's still got the experience. Having been ex-C.I.A. he's been around the block a time or two and is quick both physically and mentally on his feet.

Sage- Intelligence. I would have thrown in Layla Miller here, but Sage while she doesn't have the near "precognicance" that Layla does she still has the ability to intuit situations, plus she can handle herself as another agent.

Shadowcat- Agent. She's had training from Wolvie, she's incredibly smart, and there's not many places she can't get in to. Those attributes plus how small she is means her opponents would underestemate her, and her plain looks wouldn't stir up anyone's attention on a covert mission.

They would handle the shadow stuff, arms deals, mutant experiments, MGH trafficing, or just blowing sentinel factories up, doing the greater good even though the work is nasty etc...
Bobby- "What are ya'll talkin' about?"

    Andy- "Morning drinking"

    Bobby- "For it!"

Storm, Gateway, Magneto, Beast, Wolverine, Jubilee, Forge, Rogue, Psylocke. Just the way it was supposed to be, except for the inclusion of Guido Carosella. ;)

Cyclops, Beast, Angel, Iceman, Emma, Rogue, and Dazzler.
That way all the Dazzler fans would read it.
They could go around as a team and fill in all the plot holes in the last 20-30 years.

Im also going for the idea of a Black ops team

Wolverine (why the man is still on a mainstream team let alone the Avengers makes my mind boggle...i mean hes dark as hell...it makes no sense)

Mystique (her powers alone are made for covert ops...but shes also a great spy- see her own ongoing)

Nightcrawler (his powers work for the team, theres the tension with his mother and also the ethical issues he might face hes a moral guy being placed on a team doin dark stuff)

Karma (someone who can control someone...its obvious how shed be useful...also perhaps have her interact with Mystique...could see a possible relationship)

    Sage ~( just makes sense)

Shortpack (keeping crazy people in order)

    Rogue
    Wolverine
    Nightcrawler
    Colossus
    Dazzler
    Cannonball
    X-23

I loved how well the first four on my list worked together in Seagle and Kelly's line-up prior to the Twelve.

Dazzler and Cannonball are just favorites of mine.

X-23 gives Wolverine someone to play the "mentor" role to, like he had with Kitty and Jubilee. The possibility for playing up a brother-sister realationship between the two could lead to some interesting character moments.

Another thread of this? Oh well, its all good.

My ideal team would be Havok, Polaris, Iceman, Northstar, Dazzler, Psylocke, and Gambit.

    Default Also Black Ops theme

I think it was when Stryfe shot Xavier and Bishop, Cable, and Wolverine hooked up to hunt down the killer. Really liked that team. Would add Storm for leadership(I think she could keeps all their egos in check) and Sage for Intel.

as long as there was a maximum of 7 members doing all of the regular and fun kind of stuff, it would be ideal for me

but I think a nice line up would include Storm (as the leader, obviously), Rogue and Gambit (not worrying about their powers or what not), Northstar (gay or not, it was cool of him being on the team in the first place since he was from another superhero team), Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and Marvel Girl

Uncanny X-Men should kick out Polaris and Havok- cause they're boring and put Bishop and Sage back in. And let's put in Longshot and Dazzler in there too.
Astonishing X-Men should stay the same.
    Everyone would be happy.

and for whatever's sake, we need an ongoing Lockheed series...
