    Hey Lunar !
When you update your iPod, your playlists will automatically be put onto your iPod... after you update just go to playlist on your iPod and you will see your playlists there..Im a iPod junkie...I have a ipod video 30G..so far I have 2,000 songs on it..only 5500 to go !

Drag and drop the playlist into the iPod alias on the sidebar.

I utilize what I like to think of as "the sweetie solution" for such problems. I say to Emily, "Sweetie, would you do me a favor?" and she takes care of it. It's the perfect solution for all things technology related.

Yeah, that's great. Except I AM 'the sweetie solution' in my neck of the woods. :(

My wife is the 'dear, where is-?' solution.

While your iPOd is connected, be sure to check your preferences in iTunes. See if your prefernces have your iPod as being connected. If it is, check to see if it will automatically update or if it is set to manual.

If its manual, then yes, you need to drag your play lists over to the iPod icon in iTunes.

    I need to borrow Emily.

Does anyone know of a way to set up random shuffle using only the songs in a particular playlist?

I want to randomize the songs in my 80's Power Hour playlist because I'm getting too used to the order the songs come up in.
