No scanner. No white paper. And the cameras batteries died so I was only able to take this crappy picture. Later when the batteries are recharched Ill shade it in, add a few touches and take a pic. I think its Ok, considering im only 16. By the way, its Green Lantern.

Not bad. Green Lantern wasn't part of any of the challenges, though.Originally Posted by Spawn

I wasn't even gonna play along necessarily, but while watching PBS, there was a nature show on cephalopods, and I was mesmerized by their amoeboid like bodies, and thought a character with a power signature like that would be fun.
I didn't want to figure out her whole origin, but I wanted her to be slight in form, heavily reliant on her ectoplasmic exoskeleton/tendrils to be formidable. So as far as body type is concerned, I figure she's of Somalian heritage, but maybe raised in the West, like France - very long and lean, and kinda tall, so that her body contrasts the weird carapace of her costume. Her power signature manifests in ectoplasmic tentacles, but she doesn't have enough control over it that she needs her containment suit to concentrate it near her head, closer to her brain and therefore easier for her to mentally control. Otherwise, the energies just leak out of exposed skin. When she isn't actively using her powers, the hood closes over her face in an indigo, translucent glass, and she opens it up to manifest her tendrils.
I'm not sure what those tendrils do - perhaps they can have physicality, like Phoenix's raptor claws, but I also thought they might short circuit synaptic functions, and/or absorb or emit bio-energy. Haven't figured it all out.
But the challenge was just to do an animal themed character, so here she is! I don't love the drawing, but I like how the costume idea turned out...

Bakla you are amazing. And if you ever actually joined one of these competitions, you would win after the first challenge.
I feel so inadequate.

Lol seriously.
I thought your sketch was a finalized peice of work, but this is equally hot. I saw the nautilus on Planet Earth, and regret not using the design, as it translated amazingly into the helmet. The hands, anatomy, and power effect are all superb!
Oh don't. You have a really interesting design sense - I was just looking at your Power girl redesign and while I loved the neckline back then, I hadn't realized til now that it was actually also a "P"!
Plus I'd be too slow anyhow.
And Affinity, I voted for you: I think Le Skunk has so much appeal - plus she's so chic with her oh-so-fashinable, skewed leg pose! I think she should have an atomizer accessory - a little spray perfume bottle filled with mace or something...!

Once again, bakla, I am astounded at your design sense.
