    Default Blade, The TV Series

Debut was this week on Spike TV. iTunes is offering a free download of the pilot episode for a limited time. Anybody watch?

It was better than Blade: Trinity. David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns wrote the script.

    Lester,

I assume you don't have iTunes on your 'puter. The first place to start is apple.

Once you have iTunes downloaded, you have to set up an account. You can go to their TV show section and make sure the Blade tv series ad still says "free." selecte it, download, and its yours.

Spike TV has a site for the show. You can see that as well for more background on the show.

I see that Bravo have picked up the rights for the UK market so I'll be watching it when it appears over here. Hopefully not that long to wait.
    Hmm...

Was this show any good? I'm thinking about buying it on DVD.

What i saw of it, i liked. Geoff Johns was behind it(as a producer iirc, and he wrote a episode or two of it...), and it looked great. Sadly, the ratings were poor for the cost to make it, and Spike....spiked it.

I saw three episodes, and wished i had time to see more.
(Sorry..i HAD to do it. It could of been worse. I could of said staked!)

I forgot I started this thread...

I liked the series. Lots of double dealings, if memory serves. It's been a while since I saw it. I'd have to see it again before I can recommend it (hadn't seen it in ages!).

Perhaps you should rent it first, Les. That way you can see if its worth going in your collection.

I would but they have shut down most of the video stores in my area.

Netflix? You may be able to stream it.

I do remember a NEW version of the series being released a bit ago, with unaired and unrated scenes in it.

I might try that one day as I have a 360 and 120gig hard drive thingy. But with being able to buy most films on the internet on the cheap I don't see why I would.
