    Default Venture Brothers Season 2

Streaming on Adult Swim now. You can see it here:

It's probably my second favorite episode of the show as a whole, and a great start to the new season.

i really don't get this cartoon
Okay, before this thread this is what I knew about Tish, zip, zero, nada.
I now know that Tish is a heavily armed, black, bi-sexual, truck driving woman who likes going to the clubs.

Just when you think it can't possibly get any better -- BAM! -- they kick it up a notch.

This is the first great animated sci-fi series of the 21st century.

I guess I'll have to watch it again when I'm not as tired. It didn't do much for me, which is sad since I love the 1st season. I think it's because the boys weren't in it and there wasn't enough Brock Sampson. Orpheus seemed to be drawn quite different and I don't like the new voice they have for Jonas Jr. and I want Brock's mullet to grow back. Super happy to see The Monarch escape but some of those villains in prison seem like they'd be pretty funny too, hopefully we'll get to see more of them.

In S.A.T. terms, Archie is to Cherry Pop-tart as Johnny Quest is to The Venture Brothers.

IMO, the first season was the greatest thing since The Tick animated. I can't wait to see the second season, and hope the first gets the DVD treatment.

Congrats! It's out already. Saw it about a week ago at Best Buy.

It's a parody of the old Johnny Quest series (they even had Race Bannon appear in one episode). Brock Samson is Race Bannon, Hank and Dean Venture are Johnny and Hadji and Doc Venure is Dr. Quest.

It's also got a little Hardy Boys thrown in, but the truth is, Hank and Dean are not the stars of this show, Dr. Rusty Venture (their father/DNA donor) is -- and I'm not the first to point this out. He is one of the most complicated/conflicted characters ever created for any medium and he's the real driving engine behind the show.

In fact...[spoiler]apparently now "The Venture Brothers" refers to Rusty and his recently revealed parasitic twin brother who seems to passive-aggresively revel in busting Rusty's chops every chance he gets...

Default Venture Brothers Season Two: Go Team Venture!!!

I guess this could be the official thread for the second season of Venture Brothers

Well I just finished watching the first episode of the second season and I was pretty good. Although it wasn't LOL funny but Im sure it will get to that point in a couple of episodes.

    spoilers:
As of right now I seem to find The Monarch a more interesting character. Im more interested to see what he does after his prison break and how he will get Doctor Girlfriend back.
    end of spoilers

For those who have missed it thare is an encore of the premire on monday.

The Monarch has always been the show-stealer. King Gorilla's funny too.

This episode did have one of the best montage intros that I can think of.

You are wrong. It was laugh at loud funny when King Gorilla helped the Monarch escape. In so many ways...

I also loved the Monarch's part in the opening montage.
