Default I can't believe I'm saying this, but Gilmore Girls rocks...

No, I am not gay, nor am I a woman. I am a manly heterosexual man proud of his manhood and all things involving manliness. Honest. I like to see shit blow up real good. Chicks with giant boobs roundhouse kick dudes in the face. I could watch non-stop lightsaber fights for a year without getting bored. I think the overwhelming majority of women's TV programming is so terrible it makes my ears bleed. I assumed that a show like Gilmore Girls would be no different.

    I was wrong.

My fiance convinced me to rent the first season DVD set and I am shocked to say that it is fantastic. It's a genuinely funny, witty and emotionally engaging show. I know this may seem shocking to some of you, but I am actually recommending Gilmore Girls, yes, Gilmore Girls, to people. It's a very funny show. Give it a shot.

What's amazing to me is that the actress who plays the younger Gilmore Girl is not a native English speaker.

Just went to the Barack Obama rally here in Wilmington this afternoon and one of my first thoughts was..."So where's Rory?"
