J.A.P.'s Off-Beat TV Viewing for 5-23-2006 (X-Men fans, Take Note)
This installment will appeal to all of you X-Men fans like Ryan Kirk:
Note: All times are Central Daylight Time.
7 AM: Power Rangers Generations: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (ABC Family; A Different Shade of Pink, Part One; Guest-Star: Katherine [Catherine Sutherland]; This is the start of a storyarc that will change the Power Rangers forever. Key moments: Kat breaks free of Rita Repulsa's control to help save Kimberly's life, & the first appearance of the Pink Ranger's SHARK CYCLE [Will it allow the Power Rangers franchise to JUMP THE SHARK?])
7:30 AM: The Twilight Zone (Sci-Fi Channel)
8 AM: Tammy Tell Me True (AMC; The first of the Sandra Dee TAMMY flicks!)
9 AM: Galactica 1980 (Sci-Fi Channel; First Episode; First Appearance: Troy [Kent McCord], Dillon [Barry Van Dyke]; For the next two hours , I switch off between reruns of 'Galactica 1980' & showings of the 'TAMMY' movies on AMC, therefore mixing some delightful 1960s family movies with some cheesy 1980s sci-fi!)
9:30 PM: Tammy & The Doctor (AMC; Another great Sandra Dee flick!)
10 AM: Galactica 1980 (Sci-Fi Channel; Episode Two; Guest Star: ROBERT REED)
10:15 AM: Tammy & The Doctor (AMC; I would dream of snuggling Sandra Dee)
10:30 AM: Galactica 1980 (Sci-Fi Channel)
10:45 PM: Tammy & The Doctor (AMC)
11 AM: Battle History of the US Navy: Fire & Water (History Channel)
12 PM: Galactica 1980 (Three episodes; Sci-Fi Channel; Introducing The SUPER SCOUTS, A group of super-powered children who could jump higher & run faster than normal earth children!)
4 PM: The Loretta Young Show (FamilyNet; Starring Loretta Young)
4:30 PM: Nana Puddin (Family Net; Introducing the most diverse group of ULTRA-HEROES to ever appear in the Nana Puddin Neighborhood: TEAM NANA. For more of TEAM NANA, go to: www.nanapuddin.com )
5 PM: Battle History of the US Navy: Fire & Water (History Channel)
6 PM: La Tormenta (Telemundo; A supernatural arch-enemy of humanity threatens to kill an elderly man. Plus, a great San Antonio Missions commercial!)
7 PM: Tierra De Pasiones (Telemundo; Valeria [Gabriela Spanic] is trapped by a mullet-sporting crook [Francisco Gottorno])
8:15 PM; Corazon Partido (Telemundo; Sandra Bullock lookalike Alejandra [Karina Mora] is caught in an arguement with her father. Plus, another San Antonio Missions commercial!)
8:30 PM: X-Men (FX; This is what all of you X-MEN fans have waited for: Bryan Singer's 2000 big-screen blockbuster. The only letdown is the poor treatment of Rogue. She was made to act like JUBILEE. Anna Paquin is better suited for a 'Betty & Veronica' flick!)
9 PM: Decisiones (Telemundo; This episodes focues on DRAG QUEENS!)
9:15 PM: X-Men (FX; I watched most of the next showing of the 2000 blockbuster!)
11:15 PM: King of the Hill (KTBC; Peggy Hill smuggles COCAINE to a convict!)
I have included some spaces between some of the shows to allow you to write in your comments on the shows in a gradual manner, as well as to see the diversity of the shows!
I will tell all of you what I am including in tomorrow's thread that details my viewing from today: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, King of the Hill, Battle Nistory of the US Marines, the 1996 Billy Zane cult-classic 'The Phantom', Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee, La Tormenta, & Decisiones.
I also have some news on what I am definitely watching tomorrow: I am going to watch the 1998 awesomely bad video game themed sequel, MORTAL KOMBAT: ANNILATION on MoviePlex. It will be shown twice: First at 11 AM (Eastern/Pacific; 10 AM Central) in the morning, then in the evening at 11 PM (Eastern/Pacific; 10 PM Central), so BE PREPARED for some major coverage of MORTAL KOMBAT: ANNILATION on Friday! The third Mortal Kombat film, MORTAL KOMBAT: DEVASTATION, will be coming to theaters this years, so it will be the perfect tie-in!
One last word: Tune in every day for my TV viewing log!

J.A.P.'s Kitsch TV Viewing for 5-24-2006 (X-Men & Phantom fans, Take Note)
I am a little late on the May 24, 2006 viewing thread, but here it is, with a new name, to boot!
Fans of both the X-Men & The Phantom will find that those two franchises made made the cut in my list (All Times are in Central Daylight Time):
7 AM: Power Rangers Generations: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (ABC Family; A Different Shade of Pink, Part Two; The storyarc that changed the Power Rangers forever continues as Katherine [Catherine Sutherland] makes an important decision. We also get to see most of the Rangers in their NINJA KLANSMEN uniforms battling Rito Revolto & the Tenga Warriors!)
9 AM King of the Hill (Two episodes; Bobby kicks CHANE WASSONASSONE in the nuts!)
11 AM: Battle History of the US Marines: Born In Blood (History Channel)
12 PM: The Phantom (USA; The 1996 cult-classic starring Billy Zane!)
4:30 PM: Semi-Homemade Cooking wtih Sandra Lee (Food Network)
5 PM: King of the Hill (FX; Introducing JANE COOPER)
5:30 PM: Battle History of the US Marines: Born In Blood (History Channel)
6 PM: La Tormenta (Telemundo; Gisela dates a former criminal, while the supernatural arch-enemy of mankind continues her mission to kill the elderly man.)
8:15 PM: Corazon Partido (Telemundo; Sandra Bullock lookalike Alejandra [Karina Mora] talks to a blonde friend of hers!)
9 PM: Decisiones (Telemundo; Another Drag Queen episode, this one starring ERICK ELIAS!)
10 PM: X2: X-Men United (FX; As usual, my only gripe with the flick was Anna Paquin's Rogue, which was more like JUBILEE. If you compare the characterizations of the casts of the X-Men movies with those of video game movies, the two closest analogues to Paquin's Rogue are Dr. Dhalsim from the 1994 'Street Fighter' movie & Rain from the campy 1997 sequel 'Mortal Kombat: Annihlation'. Actually, taken seperately, the foursome of James Remar [Rayden], Sandra Hess [Sonya Blade], Lynn 'Red' Williams [Jax], & Litefoot [Nightwolf] in their roles in 'MK: Annhilation' is far superior to Paquin's Rogue, & that is the truth!)
Look for the thread about yesterday's viewing with MORTAL KOMBAT: ANNHILATION, either later today or tommorow!

J.A.P.'s Kitsch TV Viewing for 5-25-2006 (Mortal Kombat fans will love it!)
This thread is a little late but here is the thread:
6 AM: Kong: The Animated Series (ABC Family)
6:30 AM: Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends (ABC Family)
7 AM: Power Rangers Generations: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (ABC Family; A Different Shade of Pink, Part Three; This is the episode that changed the Power Rangers forever, as Katherine [Catherine Sutherland] becomes the new Pink Ranger!)
11 PM: Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (MoviePlex; This is the moment you have waited almost a week for, this is one of the most overlooked video game movies of all-time!)
12:30 PM: 12 Corazones (Telemundo; More off-beat dating!)
6 PM: La Tormenta (Telemundo; Isabela [Natasha Klauss] is still trapped in an insane asylum!)
7 PM: Tierra De Pasiones (Telemundo; This episode has tons of walk-ons from red-headed Latinas!)
8:15 PM: Devine Design (HGTV)
8: 30 PM: The Hulk (Sci-Fi Channel; This is the Ang Lee 2003 cult-classic!)
10 PM: Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (MoviePlex; The third Mortal Kombat flick, 'MK: DEVASTATION', will come to theaters later this year, so you should watch this film at the earliest convenience!)
11:45 PM: Night Court (TV Land)
This is my first thread in a few days!
I will present to you the new cult classic that should be put on DVD: This time, it is the circa-1994 Nickelodeon cult-classic, 'The Secret World of Alex Mack'. It was one of the more interesting live-action super-hero shows of the 1990s. It even got an entry in the International Catalogue of Super-Heroes, thus making her a legit super-heroine ( www.internationalhero.co.uk/a/alexmack.htm ). Her show lasted four seasons & seventy-eight episodes. She even had thirty-four books in her credit. I do not recall her exploits ever making it to VHS, but I hope she makes it to DVD soon! She is also the precursor to the current cult-classic 'MY LIFE AS A TEEN-AGE ROBOT'. (Who was the jerk who axed this great show?)
The other question that I am telling you is: Which of the shows I watched is the:
* Best
* Worst
And...
*Oddest?
I hope you enjoyed the return of my 'TV Viewing' Thread!
