    Post J.A.P.'s Off-Beat TV Viewing

    I am back with my second installment of my series of threads that showcase my TV viewing, with a new name!

    Here is my log:

    7 AM: Power Rangers Generations: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (ABC Family; The infamous 'Orb of Doom' episode; The Rangers celebrate Katherine's first birthday in America [She was an exchange student]; Master Vile attempts to defeat the Power Rangers by turning them into grade-schoolers, & guess what: He [with the help of Rito Revolto] suceeded. [Goldar & the Tenga Warriors assisted them by fighting the Power Rangers]; As the Orb of Doom does its work, most of Angel Grove's residents become grade-schoolers [Even Lt. Stone becomes a six-year-old], complete with grade-school Kat's cheesy Dutch Boy-meets-Prince Valiant-meets-Guy Gardner haircut; The episode ends with all of the bad guys becoming giant-sized & about to destroy Angel Grove; Here is a funny part: Kat is not crying because Angel Grove is going to be destroyed, she is crying because of the really awful haircut she was inflicted with due to the Orb of Doom! There are a few key moments: It led to the Alien Aqua-Rangers saga, & it was Aiesha's last official mission as a Power Ranger [She disappeared during the Aqua-Rangers saga], ABC Family did not air the first of the Alien Rangers episodes the next day [today], instead, they aired the first part of the three-part introduction of the ShogunZords series!)
    7:30 AM: The Twilight Zone (Sci-Fi Channel; 'Number 12 Looks Just Like Val')
    11 AM: Wild West Tech (History Channel; Freak Show Tech)
    4 PM: The Loretta Young Show (FamilyNet; Starring Loretta Young)
    4:30 PM: Nana Puddin (FamilyNet; The Nana Puddin Red Ribbon Carnival; Introducing RED A. DARE!)
    5 PM: Wild West Tech (History Channel; More Freak Show Tech!)
    6 PM: La Tormenta (Telemundo; Isabela [Natasha Klauss] is drugged into a stupor; plus, a kinky girl holding an umbrella watches a bandit pray for Jesus!)
    7 PM: Tierra De Pasiones (Telemundo; Valeria [Gabriela Spanic] nearly gets killed in an auto accident!)
    8:15 PM: Corazon Partido (Telemundo; Sandra Bullock-lookalike Alejandra [Karina Mora] tries to woo a friend of hers; plus, an Average Joe does something romantic to a hot blonde!)
    9 PM: Decisiones (Telemundo; Fight Club, Telemundo-style!)
    11 PM: King of the Hill (KTBC; Hank harassed by DUKE The DOLPHIN!)

    What do you think of my viewing choices for that day?

    All times are C.D.T.

    Thanks;

    J.A.P.

    Your parents should limit your time in front of the TV.

    Cool J.A.P.'s Off-Beat TV Viewing for May 17, 2006

    Here is my log for May 17. 2005:

    7 AM: Power Rangers Generations: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (ABC Family; The Changing of the Zords, Part 1; Katherine is ordered by Rita Repulsa to steal one of the Rangers' Power Coins. When the Tenga Warriors attack, the kids morph into their NINJA KLANSMEN uniforms [I call them that because they look like blending of standard Ninja outfits & KLAN UNIFORMS!]; Meanwhile, Katherine takes Kimberly's Power Coin during the Ninja Klansmen Rangers/Tenga Warriors battle; She tries to take Aiesha's Coin as well, until Bulk & Skull spot her [I preferred Kat taking Aiesha's Power Coin along with Kimberly's, because Aiesha sucked & she probably deserved to die, anyway!]; When Tommy fought Goldar on his FalconZord, but Kat throws him out & takes off to the hands of Lord Zedd; Zedd also traps Ninjor [The Mighty Mouse as human ninja] in an ordinary glass jar! It ends with Kimberly nearing death!)
    11 AM: Modern Marvels (History Channel; Failed Inventions)
    12 PM: Matlock (Hallmark Channel)
    12:30 PM: 12 Corazones (Telemundo; I watched it because that particular episode had two Latina cuties sporting, of all odd hairstyles, humongous GIANT-SIZED AFROS!!!!!!!! To make matters more oddball, one of them spoted a humongous giant-sized BLONDE AFRO [with rose-tinted shades]!!!!!!!!! For the nutty pictures from that episode, go to www.telemundo.com !)
    4:30 PM: Semi-Homemade Cooking (Food Network; Sandra Lee's French Cuisine!)
    5 PM: King of the Hill (FX; Hank moons ANN RICHARDS!)
    5: 30 PM: Modern Marvels (History Channel; More Failed Inventions!)
    6 PM: La Tormenta (Telemundo; Gisela tries to cheer up a church-going bandit!)
    9 PM: Decisiones (Telemundo; This episode is 'Tootsie, Telemundo-style!)

    I watched less shows that day!

    Do you like these shows?

    Lightbulb J.A.P.'s Off-Beat TV Viewing for May 18, 2006

    Here is my log for May 18, 2006:

    6 AM: Kong: The Animated Series (ABC Family)
    6:30 PM: Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends (ABC Family; Guest-Villain: The ARACHNOID)
    7 AM: Power Rangers Generations: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (ABC Family; The Changing of the Zords, Part Two)
    3 PM: Gunsmoke (TV Land)

    4 PM: The Loretta Young Show (FamilyNet)
    5 PM: King of the Hill (Two episodes; FX; Introducing TAMMI DUVAL & ALABASTER JONES!)

    6 PM: La Tormenta (Telemundo)
    7 PM: Tierra De Pasiones (Telemundo)
    8:15 PM: Corazon Partido (Telemundo)
    9 PM: Hot Shots! Part Deux (MoviePlex)
    11 PM: Fraiser (Lifetime)

    I am going to start a few new things that will appear on Fridays!

    The first is the cult classic that deserves to be on DVD, which is when I showcase a fan favorite great from the past that deserves to be on DVD: The first recipient is Sinbad Jr., a 1965 cult classic that was one of the many limited animation series that was aired alongside theatrical toons in 1960s children's variety shows. He even managed to get a comic book during that timethat lasted three issues. I hope somebody would put a few of those episodes on DVD. For more info, go to: www.toonopedia.com/sinbadjr.htm

    The other is a survey that will allow you to tell me which of the shows I listed on my logs this week are your:

    *Favorite
    * Least favorite

    And...
    * Most Oddball

    Thank you;

    J.A.P.

    Red face J.A.P.'s Off-Beat TV Viewing for May 19, 2006

    Here is my log for yesterday:

    7 AM: Power Rangers Generations: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (ABC Family; The Changing of the Zords, Part Three; First actual appearance of the SHOGUNZORDS)
    7:15 AM: Little Big Town 'Bring It On Home' Music Video (CMT)

    9 AM: King of the Hill (Two episodes; FX; Introducing TAMMI DUVAL & ALABASTER JONES)
    11 AM: Comedy Central Presents (Comedy Central)
    11:30 AM: Living Wild (NGC)

    12 PM: Modern Marvels (History Channel; Gas Tech)

    2 PM: Rebelde (Univision; This show rocks, LITERALLY!)

    4 PM: UFO Files (History Channel)
    4:30 PM: Nana Puddin (FamilyNet; Introducing Liza Jane's heroic alter-ego: The COWGORILLA!)
    5 PM: King of the Hill (Two episodes; FX)

    6 PM: La Tormenta (Telemundo)
    7 PM: X-Men 2: X-Men United (Fox; Like the first flick, the one bad part of the flick was Rogue: The movie producers wanted to make her more like JUBILEE. Also, Anna Paquin was the wrong choice for the role. She is more suited for a 'Betty & Veronica' movie than an 'X-Men' one!)
    9 PM: Nostradamus: 500 Years Later (History Channel)
    11 PM: Night Court (TV Land)

    Which of the following shows do you really like (or dislike)?

    Good day;

    J.A.P.
