    Default Wolfskin

Anyone else pick this up? I was quite impressed. There really is no fantasy genre that Ellis can't do well...and Juan Jose Ryp's art is perfect for this sort of blood and guts story. It's not breaking any new ground...but it is a well done "sword and sorcery" type book (although I didn't actually notice any sorcery happening so perhaps that description's not entirely accurate:)).

Read it yesterday and it's a fun over the top hack and slash book. Blood and limbs all over the place, drawn in a grotesque way which makes you chuckle looking at it.

Its a Mini-series. Seems to be running late now. I thought issue one was cool, and hope to see #2 sooner then later.

I'm looking forward to picking it up, but what's with the delay? I could do without more of those.

Well of course its not as good as Conan. Come on, how many comics on the stands are?

Only the one issue released. It was pretty good. Extremely gory. With an interesting juxposition of "honorable" killing vs killing from afar. The hero's aversion to technology, after wading knee-deep in blood and intestines, is very funny.

Ha! An original Ellis character with an aversion to technology. That's priceless. You have to love the irony there.

    bad signal
    WARREN ELLIS

    AAAARRRRRRRR.

    URRRRGG. That hurts my chest.
Still a bit crappy here, but back at
    work, performing triage on the
    schedule. Publishers should not take
this note as an excuse to bug me --
am typing as fast as I can for all.

    * WOLFSKIN: there was some kind
    of scheduling miscommunication that
    I still don't quite understand.
Should be back on track within the
next couple of months and serialisation
    completed promptly from that
    point.

    There.

Yep, that pretty much sums up human existence, doesn't it. Curse the heavens all you want, the crow will still eat your eyeballs.

The first two issues were good, but this was a magnificent finale.
