    To me, cult means movies that have or will come to gain a devoted following. To that end, I don't see many if any of the films on your list achieving cult status.

    The only film that comes to mid is one that already has a cult following: Napoleon Dynamite. I thought it was only okay, but I understand it has a lot of loyal fans.

    Also, I think Bad Santa is starting to fit the catagory.
    I also think Napoleon Dynamite long ago left the "cult" status part of "cult classic". Everyone in the their grandma has seen it now.

    But Saved! sucked. It was poorly written, made no sense, and didn't have the balls to say anything interesting in the end, despite purporting a controversial anti-religion tone in advertisments.
