And I love it, I'm having a blast putting my cds on it, and downloading stuff from itunes, but...
Can you dl stuff from other sites and still put it on your ipod? There's a lot of stuff I'm looking for that itunes don't got yet!

If you got a Nano or regular iPod, it plays all of the following:Originally Posted by Gail Simone

Yeah, that's a regular iPod. I believe the wma format does not play by default. I think there are some hacks to do it, but you'll probably get a reduction in quality. Usually better to stay with mp3 or Apple's AAC.Originally Posted by Gail Simone

HUH?
HOW!?
Gail
Also, when you're importing from CDs, you might want to convert them at a higher rate than the standard 128kbps. You'd probably be just fine with 192kbps, as it is very close to CD quality. I import at 320kbps for max quality, but the files are pretty big. I suggest importing a song at 128kbps, and then at a higher rate, and see if you can tell the difference. If not, just go with the 128kbps, as it'll save space.
I believe you go to the File menu, then choose Import. You should be able to choose a folder of songs, or select a bunch.Originally Posted by Gail Simone

I'm working up some ideas in this format.
So you fell victim to the evil that is Ipod, eh? I'd buy one but I have better things to waste €300 on.
