Default Mike Allred - Where is he?

I'm missing his work. Can anybody tell me what he's up to at the moment(bar Marvel titles)? I've heard nothing on The Golden Plates and my LCS guy won't dare look past his latest X title so I'm in the dark.

He currently working on X-Statix Presents Dead Girl, a 5 issue mini series. He did an issue of DC's solo 6 months ago or so. Other than that, everything I've heard is that he's been concentrating on The Golden Plates.

Thanks Ryan. I didn't think there'd be much beyond The Golden Plates but it was worth a try.

yeah, he's been inking the Dead Girl mini. This gives the book the Allred look without him having to have to burn himself out.

As far as the Golden plates go, you can skip em'. I'm not going to get into it, for fear of offending folks, but the bottom line is it's not his best art.

I wish he'd do more Atomics. That book was the best.

I could definitely do with some more Madman or Atomics. Another series like Red Rocket 7 even.

I'd be first in line to pick up a new issue of Madman. Okay, I'm too lazy to actually be first, but I'd definitely be in the line.

He is in my Closet as we speak and will not go away.
No worries. But I'm sorry to say that I've already named a character after you that gets killed off horrible for his insolence.
    Nah, just kidding.

Yeah I'd LOVE to see more Madman also but I am getting my Allred fix from the Golden plates, I think it's great stuff, the story and the art. Well, I might be biased on the story since I am of the same faith as Allred and I've read the book he is adapting. But yeah, I hope he does more Madman someday too, that stuff is killer.

any religious restrictions in Australia, as it is a comic series based on Allred's Mormon religion.

No more than the states as far as I know. Might just be my particular LCS. I'll have to look into it.

Golden Plates at my LCS: $15.50 per issue. Are they plated with gold or something?
