To those who are interested, here's the story. A few months ago, I wrote a petition with the intention of getting the Spider-Man balloon back into the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, or failing that, put in a Marvel Comics-themed float in the parade. After a slow period of time, I have been making considerable progress, but I still need support. I am asking you as a fellow Spider-Man fan to sign my petition and help me get Spidey back into the parade.

Does Marvel have to pay for this or does Macy's? If it's the former, I'd rather not have my comics go up in price anymore than they have to, especially for a big damn blow up doll I'll never see in person. If it's Macy's footing the bill, yeah, I'll sign, I don't shop there. :)

To be honest, I'm really not sure who pays for this. I think that both pay for this, since Macy's is the one who runs the parade, and since Spider-Man is one of Marvel's characters, they probably pay a certain amount too, but I don't know who pays more money.
