This season has been great, imo it has been better than the first, which was amazing.

This weeks episode was particularly good b/c we finally got to see Aang put it all together. He used air, water, earth, and when he made the fist of rock me and my guy flipped out.

    good shit

Also anyone else think Zuko will become the fire bender of team Avatar, perhaps even before Aang leaves the city?

just discovered this show and it's unbelievably gorgeous...the bending scenes are stunning and i love, love, love katara...all the characters are great, but katara, i love how she keeps them all grounded...the themes are great w/o being too condescending and it has just the right amount of whimsy to counter balance the heavier stuff...nick hit the right chord w/ this one.

...the show is on the level of that of the entire Bruce Timm DCAU!! Hell, since JLU went off the air. Avatar is currently the best cartoon on now!!!

I'm always amazed by the creative fight scenes. Like the one towards the end w/ Aang and Azula. I also enjoyed watching Tai Lee getting her but handing to her by Katarra. I just cant get over how cute MoMo is. LOL The actions always have me yearning to watch the rebroadcast later in the day. Especially that scene with the Seahorse snake dragon thing. And they always think of ways to up the ante on the dire situations the kids are in. Like with Toth at the Serpents path, she couldnt see. So they had to deal with this dragon and figure out a way to save Toth. Also when Aang was trying to stop the drill, he had to deal with those fallings rocks and then Azula's attack. Awesome show, I'm obsessed.

I have to say I was impressed at what Kitara was doing in the movie that aired friday, basically kind of like a mini iceman on water, riding around creating an ice sled thingy, even pushing aside the water so they could walk through the bottom by herself for a short time period.

I agree with it being the best cartoon out, tho remember the new LOSH show premieres next saturday..heh

One of the things I like the best about the show is the fact that they let everybody kick ass, in one way or another. Nobody's helpless, a hanger-on, or just comedy relief(even Sokka gets to show off).

Love the series. For me, as a student of Chinese history and culture, I'm delighted with many of the subtle influences they put into the show (the opening title with the introduction of the four elements is my favorite). The fighting and action are great. They don't overshadow the rich storytelling, but rather enhance it. At times, I feel like I'm watching a work of art rather than a kids' show. I'm looking forward to more episodes in the future.
