Google ads are not that obnoxious like many ads, and if they allow a web site to keep providing free access, I don't mind.

Old thread that I bumped into accidentally, but I simply had to add something.
I never look at Google Ads (not at any ads for that matter) and I've never in my life clicked on any Google Ads.
However, I have a reason to look at them now, as there is a Firefox extension called Greasemonkey, which is simply an easy way to run extra scripts. And one such script turns every Google Ad into a neat little haiku-like poem. There are many similar scripts that block the ads completely, but I really like this one. Examples (screenshots from sites I've visited, in this case Engadget.com, but obviously it could have come from any site that carries Google Ads):

Ahem. Carry on.
I always end up getting nonsensical Ebay ads whenever I google stuff.
If I searched for the meaning of life, the ad would read "looking for the meaning of life? You can get it here on Ebay!" Or something like that
"We spend our lives looking for that one great idea to change our lives when it is the one great implementation that really matters."-CAT
What the hell is a "Google Ad"? :D
