Amazing Spider-Man #377. Spidey vs. Cardiac and Styx and Stone. I hated the story but I loved the art. After that we got into Maximum Carnage, which I thought was SO AWESOME!!!! Looking back, yeah...
If you missed the episode, Mike describes the plot of Sins Past to Bryan. Bryan then calls the concept "awesome."
So...do we all hate Bryan now too? :)
I love this post. I personally think Cooper will be fine in the role, but I still enjoy your rage.
I just hope he doesn't get too short-tempered with her.
Just enjoy the stories man. If you're looking to comics as an investment, you're going to be sorely disappointed. My advice: buy some stocks, and spend the dividends on Spidey comics.
Yeah that series was out of continuity though.
Here are 3 more. (source: www.spiderfan.org)
Gerry Conway, 134 issues
Amazing Spider-Man #111-149
Marvel Team-Up #2-12, 28-37, 52
Spectacular Spider-Man 1-3, 6, 137-174
Spectacular...
He was the first guy to mention Charlie from Spider-Man vs. Wolverine since that comic came out. He brought back the Jackal and Kaine. He made a F.A.C.A.D.E. joke. Now he's bringing up Ock's...
Holy cow, great issue. Dan, this is your finest work. I'm sorry I doubted you.
Not sure how anyone could've possibly thought it was going to happen. I definitely did not expect the whole angle to be wrapped up in 1 issue though. I think that's a good thing, as watching Ock fawn...
Internet: RARRRRR there better not be rape in Superior Spider-Man #2!!!!!!
Slott: Here's the issue and there's no rape in it.
Internet: GRRRRRAAAWWWWW we're still angry for some reason!!!!!!
Nope. I'm still allowed to enjoy Spider-Man even if I've gotten sick of rehashed storylines and plot conveniences.
It's happened twice. Maybe 3 times if you count the 'Aunt May was an actress' fiasco. Also, with all the complaints about clones...do you guys read the clone saga every day on an endless loop?...
Lee Weeks' Spider-Man: Death and Destiny ranks up there with the best Spidey mini-series. What the hell ever happened to that guy?
I don't know. We don't actually see him creating special gloves or boots. Although now that I've re-read the issue, your interpretation does seem to make a lot more sense than mine.
I like you.
With SpOck's retractable claws, we seem to be headed in that direction. Do you think the storyline will ultimately provide us with a clear answer, and if so, what do you think the answer will be?
...
I wouldn't mind seeing him in a costume, but not as a Spider character. Not a Goblin either, but something completely new.
QQ, does Harry still have super strength?
Oooh this is fun. Here are some more:
Seeing Uncle Ben in a Dream, Vision, or Alternate Reality
Yes, Peter needs to be reminded every now and then of who he is and why he does what he does, but...
Return of Shriek?
Good god man, maybe Dan Harmon overheard Peter saying it 5 years ago at the Coffee Bean and used it for the show. Maybe Peter does say it all the time but only in the hundreds of thousands of...
I guess in this issue Vulture uses his giant head to dislocate Spidey's left leg.
I've also constructed a strawman of you. It's a guy who can't go 2 posts without complaining about strawmen arguments.
Wow, thanks Rob! That clears it up pretty well.
