Add to that the only title I've added to DC is Green Arrow. And I'm not getting any of the new titles that have come out, and none of the announced titles impress me at all (other than Pak & Lee's...
Since the new52 launched, I've dropped more than half of the books that I was getting (that doesn't count books that were cancelled), and I picked up least 40 of the titles to start, and a good...
Indeed. And we are talking about an "Al Ghul," so it's not like it would be really hard to bring him back...
The whole article is a spoiler, though, on the main page.
This part excites me most of all.
Venditti: They're each going to have their own individual stories. Josh has come up with some great ideas for what he's going to do on Green Lantern Corps and Red...
I thought this was a decent issue, but the story already feels way too decompressed, and after looking at the 4 month checklist (with 4 titles each) I can guess that it definitely will be - hell it...
Oh my god, yes. Quoted for, for the love of god truthiness!
Based on flipping through it and reading bits and pieces, this review seems about right to me. One of the few times I actually agree with a CBR review...
Yeah issue 16 is a great jumping on point. I dropped the book back at 6, then picked it up again at 16 and don't feel lost at all. They mentioned some stuff that happened before, but most of it is...
Why not then try each of the first issues and see...
Well there's that. Here's hoping I'm pleasantly surprised.
I have not. But I honestly have no interest in the character - he's easily one of my least favorite DC characters - so that book was a no sale from #1. I also haven't tried his Luthor Strode, but...
While I don't think a writer has to be a fan of character to write them well (look at Lemire on GA - he publicly stated he wasn't really a fan of the character & knocked the first issue out of the...
Fialkov said he was a huge fan and has boxes and boxes of GL comics...
Either way...
Just the thought of a normal (training and magical sword or not) versus a Meta who literally faces off against gods on a regular basis seems like an odd choice to me.
A little off topic, but is anyone else a bit worried about what it means for Demon Knights is Bernard is moving to GLC?
Wow. Really? That seems...unwise.
Now you're making me question my decision to pass on it. It looked pretty "blah" to me, and I really didn't like Finch's take on some of the characters - Selina especially. I'm curious to see what...
I want to be optimistic, but after Team 7 and Shadowman, it's hard. The dialogue in Shadowman was so bad I literally cringed on every page.
3 out of 4 ain't bad. But I wish Kyle's book would have went to either Venditti or Fialkov...
Anyone else find a good half of these as things they would prefer not to have happened...or to go away?
Most of what I'm enjoying has already been mentioned, but I'll reiterate, and include a couple that haven't been.

Saga - Deserves the hype
Fatale
The Darkness - criminally underrated....
For me, as long as they let the books stand more on their own and let whoever is doing the various books do their own thing, I'd say it's a win. All of the books may not be great, but we'd more than...
