I liked it, but definitely not as much as Witchfinder or the two 1940s ones. In fact, I think my copy of The Drowning is signed by Jason Shawn Alexander.

My favourites of those would be Abe 2, Witchfinder 1, and the two 1940s. You don't need the first Abe volume to understand 2, and I really preferred the short story approach in the second volume.

Am I the only one confused because of the DC Black Beetle? Is that copyright infringement? Besides that, it looks pretty damn good. I checked it out in DHP and it certainly seemed quality.

Both of the ones we've seen, the character and the monster are not at all related. I like your idea, but it doesn't look like it's happening.
