I was glad when they got rid of the capris & slippers and big ass collar in his Immortal Iron Fist series from a few years ago.

His nephew pretty much replaced him (don't know if that character is still alive, though).

Bought Walter Mosley's latest Easy Rawlins book yesterday and finished it today. He was supposedly done with the character in the last book (came out in 2007) and pretty much killed him off. Luckily...
