Good ratings doesn't mean it's a good show. Hell, Lady Gaga sells millions of records and her music sucks. Lots of people see the Twilight movies and they are horrible.

Whispers is excellent so far, so is The Sword. Girls was pretty good but Ultra was like a chick flick. Nothing wrong with that it just wasn't my cup of tea.
I like Joe Casey but when Kirkman was writing it was really good. After he left they switched gears and did a complete 180, I had to drop it.
Season 1 of the show was good, but after that I agree the show is terrible. Switching show runners so often has hurt it. The comic is getting way too repetitive now too, but the prison arc is the...
If it gets a decent writer I might be interested.
Awesome, I'll check it out. I've been hoping for a podcast without being flooded by books from Marvel and DC because I don't read them. Great job
It was a pretty solid run, I enjoy the Grimm books
Not really familiar with Gillen has done previously because I don't read superhero comics. Avatar is my favorite publisher so I'm going to give it a go, I can understand how the violence and gore...
The New 52 was great for new readers, myself included. All Marvel NOW! did is shuffle creative teams around and slap a logo on it.
With the New 52 I jumped into books I haven't read in years. ...
I'm going to give it a few more issues to see where this arc goes, but if I'm not thrilled with it I'm off the book. These arcs seem like they drag on and we've seen them before. It just lacks the...
Based on the books you mentioned, I would suggest checking out:
Preacher
Bedlam
Punisher MAX (Eniss and the Jason Aaron run)
The Sword
What type of books do you usually like to read? That will help us make suggestions.
Valiant is making some awesome comics, but it doesn't warrant a new forum.
Valiant is putting out some impressive work.
I'm a big fan of Seeley, now it's off my pull list.
The show is okay, but I don't understand the hype. Maybe it's because I have higher expectations after reading the comic, but nothing about the show warrants the attention it gets.
The last scene...
Agreed. It's not going anywhere as long as people watch. Unfortunately, people like the Kardashians and Honey BooBoo become cultural phenomenons for being idiots and people keep watching.
I dropped it after issue #2. It was obvious they were writing it to be a TV series or movie and it rubbed me the wrong way. Nothing particularly great or wrong with it, it wasn't good enough for me...
Always liked the character, but I have no idea where to start. Went to my local shop but there are a bunch of books to choose from.
Any suggestions for a new reader?
Thanks
Love you work! Revival has quickly become one of my few favorite must read books.
While the Ennis run remains one of my favorite all time, I'm enjoying the current Badlands run by Mr. Hine.
I think the point of the thread is to name your favorite (singular) Image book :P
Revival
I'm enjoying this book too, I didn't think it was slow at all in the first few issues.
Looking forward to these. Wonder how violent and gruesome the episodes will be.
Image raised the price of a few books to help prevent them from being cancelled.
